In calligraphy? Wrist movement? Identify and correct
Writing a book does not go through three physiological links: one is the finger that writes directly, the other is the wrist, and the third is the elbow. And arms, of course. Perhaps to expand, when writing a big book on the wall, even the human body, membrane and back will move, but after all, this is too general and the technical characteristics are too obvious to be ignored. Finger directly controlling the pen, as mentioned in the section on writing, should be the most skilled role. Grasping and pressing the hook, plus guiding and sending the hook, are all coordinated actions of the five fingers. Fingers have the strongest direct control, but the most limited range of activities, so only when writing in small letters will there be a situation of relying entirely on fingers. Slightly larger words are difficult to handle just by referring to them. Yuntiao has always been mysterious, thinking there is something secret. The flip and shake of the wrist up, down, left and right can really emphasize the rhythm, adjust the strokes and become a branch of finger movement. This is its advantage. But it also has its limitations: Chinese characters can only be used in case. Once Chinese characters are written, even bamboo can move, so it is obviously not enough to turn your wrist over. At that time, people were convinced that calligraphy was the only secret of the country, and there was no more special skill requirement for bowl transportation than finger transportation.
The problem of elbow transportation is relatively simple. Because big characters must be written freely, elbows are generally not placed on the table, and elbows hang for a long time. Most people will feel that the hand clock is sore and unstable, but once they get used to it, they will feel like it. The key to hanging your elbow is to practice a control skill. Hang it flexibly, no matter where the pipeline goes, the elbow can always keep up and make corresponding efforts. To write big characters or cursive script is the first level. Compared with fingers, eyes and elbows, fingers have the highest requirements. It needs absolute harmony, and the coordination of movements naturally causes technical difficulties. The coordination of wrist mainly lies in rolling, and the skill of finger decreases slightly in difficulty. When it comes to luck, the complexity of skills disappears, but more emphasis is placed on control. The relationship between the three is that the more delicate and exquisite the technique, the most limited the scope of activities. But there will be exceptions to this requirement for fingers, wrists and elbows. For example, the general requirement of finger movement is coordination, and at the same time, it is necessary to be able to reverse the pen force, which is the so-called theory of virtual fingers.
The pen of the bag is rotated by fingers, and the pen will rotate according to the change of direction when operating. In this way, if you really have no interest, such as holding a bowl, you have to shake your wrist to help the pen gesture swing. However, some experienced calligraphers, such as Kang Youwei, have suggested that shaking the wrist is bound to be weak, and if you don't take it, you will have great strength. Why? Lucky? The word is. These are difficult to determine. It can be seen that "finger movement, wrist movement and elbow movement all exist as a technical specification, and they are not ends in themselves. If we pretend to be mysterious, like the finger movements of the Qing dynasty and the wrist movements of close people, it really doesn't do much good to calligraphy. For example, it is better to adopt a more open attitude: take what is appropriate. For example, when writing big characters, you don't have to stick to the attached rules, instead of hanging your elbows or writing small characters. We should take this as a realistic attitude towards Yun Zhi, especially the deified Yunwan. Sticking to a certain dogma and ignoring its actual effect really runs counter to the meaning of the norm itself.
