Second, WebPAC.
WebPAC originated from OPAC and is a retrieval tool for readers to find collections. OPAC is a computerized library card catalogue, and network PAC is an upgraded version of OPAC interface network. The query subsystem directly faces the readers and is the window of the whole library automation management system. The specific functions are as follows:
1. Book catalog information query: used to query the bibliographic information, collection and circulation of all books and periodicals in the collection. Users can define multiple query channels and query contents, and further limit the query results from the aspects of literature type and language type.
2. Circulation information query: query the bibliography, borrowing date and expiration date of all books borrowed by readers. For readers who violate the rules, the system will also display their violation records.
3. Online booking: displays the valid booking records and status submitted by readers, and allows readers to delete or add booking records.
4. Renew the loan online: Readers can renew the loan online, which is convenient for readers and can also reduce the workload of circulation staff.
