There are two payment methods.

Royalty is a form of payment to the author according to his own sales.

At present, the general tax rate is 5% ~ 15%. However, it is very good for new authors to get 6% ~ 7%. If it is a famous author, it is generally around 8 ~ 10%. This calculation method is especially suitable for those authors who think their works are very marketable. As long as you have confidence in your work, you can generally make a fortune. The more books you sell, the more you earn, hehe.

The basic remuneration (excluding tax) is calculated as follows: first print quantity ×8%× book pricing.

Second, one-time payment.

One-time payment is a calculation method of paying the reader a one-time fee, which can be divided into two ways: paying by text and paying by page. 1, the payment for words is based on the total number of words written by the author (in thousands of words) (generally between 20 and 50 words per thousand words, and experts are more than 50 words). Whether a book is republished or not has nothing to do with the author after the author has been paid a manuscript fee within 3 to 6 months.

The calculation formula of payment by words is: the total number of words in the book (in thousands of words) × the agreement price of thousands of words (the amount is negotiated by the author);

2. Pay by page is generally suitable for books with many pictures and concentrated images (such as computers). Usually, a page is between 10 ~ 50 yuan, which is negotiated by the author according to the quality and popularity of the author.

The calculation formula of paying by page is: the total number of pages of the book × the agreed price per page (this amount is negotiated with the author).
