How to take notes on WeChat?
1. Marked notation

If you really want to make the contents of the book a part of your knowledge system, it is not enough to "see" with your eyes. In the process of reading, we should be good at using various marks and symbols and learn to take notes. In How to Read a Book, the author provides seven convenient ways to mark the book: underlining, drawing a line outside the underlined column, making an asterisk or other symbols in the blank, numbering in the blank, writing other page numbers in the blank, circling keywords or sentences, and taking notes in the blank of the page. There are also three ways to take notes: structural notes, conceptual notes and dialectical notes.

Structural note-taking is the most commonly used note-taking method, that is, taking notes according to the structure of a book, and there are three principles:

(1) What book is this?

(2) What is the whole book talking about?

(3) What kind of overall structure does the author use to expand his views or state his understanding of the theme?

Taking notes around these three principles can help us better understand the contents of the book.

But I'm a little neat about books. From a very young age until now, I have to wash my hands before reading, and I won't buy old books that others have read unless they are out of print. I read the book more than three times and put it on the shelf, as if it were the same as when I first arrived. Only textbooks are scattered, and the cover is flat and clean after one semester. Read by yourself-it is said that you should wash your hands when reading. How can you leave ink on the book?

So this part is to introduce you, it is good to know this method. I usually use the latter three methods.

2. Mind mapping method

For books with strong logic and structure, mind mapping notes are the most suitable. Since the official account of WeChat was opened, I have shared several mind map reading notes with you. The standard method works like this (through Tony Buzan's mind map):

(1) Browse and flip through the whole book or article quickly, and get a preliminary impression of the organization of its content.

(2) Prepare the time plan, and study and determine the content and quantity of materials that must be involved during this period.

(3) Draw a mind map for what is already known in this field, so as to establish the "catch hook" of associative thinking.

(4) Use a small mind map to establish the goals and objectives to be achieved in this learning stage, complete a different mind map, and answer all the questions that must be answered in the next learning stage.
