The East Asian History and Literature Research Center of Beihua University was formerly the Ancient Books Research Office of Jilin Normal University, which was established in June 1984. 1985 was transformed into the Institute of Ancient Books of Jilin Normal University in June, which is a cooperative institution of ancient books collation and research established by the National Committee of Ancient Books Collation and Research in Colleges and Universities in Jilin Province. 1After the establishment of Beihua University in September 1999,1February 1999, the Institute of Ancient Books of Beihua University was established; In May 2004, it was transformed into the East Asian History and Literature Research Center of Beihua University; In June 2007, it was named as the first batch of key research bases of humanities and social sciences in provincial universities in Jilin Province.

Zheng Yi, male, professor, doctor of law, tutor of master students, is currently the dean of the School of History and Culture of Beihua University, the director of the East Asian History and Literature Research Center, and the leader of the provincial key discipline history. The main academic fields are the history of Sino-Japanese relations and the history of Japanese foreign policy. After years of academic research, he presided over the completion of the national social science fund project "Ji Tianmao's imperial consciousness and foreign policy toward China" (08BSS004), and the project results were rated as excellent by peer experts. He presided over the completion of the research on Ji Tianmao's political thoughts (05JA8 1000 1+0) funded by the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, and published two academic monographs in this academic field, which filled the key nodes and figures in studying the formation of Japan's postwar foreign policy toward China from China's perspective, which has a guiding academic position and value for enriching Japanese historians in China and helping China people understand Japanese society and Japan's postwar foreign affairs. Professor Zheng Yi is currently a member of the Third Discipline Appraisal Group of Jilin Academic Degrees Committee, vice-president of Japanese History Society of China, vice-president of Jilin Historical Society, director of Japan Society of China, vice-president of Northeast China-Japan Relations History Society, director of professional committee of key research base of humanities and social sciences of Jilin Provincial Education Department, visiting professor of Jilin Academy of Social Sciences and member of Jilin Social Sciences Federation. 20 1 1, 1 was awarded as young and middle-aged professional and technical talents with outstanding contributions in Jilin province 1 batch, and 20 12, 12 was awarded as the second-class candidate of the third batch of top-notch innovative talents in Jilin province.

As the editor-in-chief, Changbai Series, a large-scale local culture series, published a total of 108 books with more than 50 million words in 20 14 years, which has a high academic influence at home and abroad and played an important leading role in sorting out and inheriting local culture. Starting from 1985, the northeast literature has been systematically excavated and sorted out in all directions and at multiple levels, and a large-scale local literature, Changbai Series, has been compiled and published, with a volume of more than 50 million words in 108. Fiji is famous at home and abroad for its distinctive locality, colorful nationality, strong frontier and strong internationality. It is praised by experts as "the East China Literature, Guanghua Repetition" and "the Northeast Literature Collection, the essence of Kanto Culture". Researcher Li Yan, director of the Frontier History and Geography Center of China Academy of Social Sciences, commented that the research results of Changbai Series are the first in the overall study of northwest China in the national local history research, and have high popularity and influence in the domestic and foreign historians. The Complete Works of Changbai Series won the second prize of provincial social science.

The collation and research of Changbai series extended from Northeast China to East Asia, and published a number of achievements, such as Textual Research on Historical Materials of China and North Korea, Railway Translation Series of Northeast Asia Economic Circle, horvat and Middle East, which made the achievements of Changbai series more international.

Members of the Center have successively undertaken two projects of the National Social Science Fund, namely, Professor Zheng Yi's Research on Ji Tianmao's Imperial Consciousness and China's Policy Outlook, which was completed at the end of 201/kloc-0, and the project results were rated as excellent; Liu Jiaoshou's Study on the Border and Ethnic Relations between China and North Korea was adopted by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. There are three humanities and social science fund projects of the Ministry of Education: Professor Zheng Yi's Study on Ji Tianmao's Political Thought, Associate Professor Li's Study on the Tribute Relationship between Qing Dynasty and North Korea-Centered on Examination, and Associate Professor's Study on the Power Structure of Northeast China (191-193656). There are 2 national ancient books collation projects, 3 Sino-foreign cooperation projects and 20 provincial scientific research projects, and the project funds are 1 15000 yuan. Strengthening cooperation with academic institutions at home and abroad is an important way to enliven the academic atmosphere. The center has successively established friendly and cooperative relations with Gyeongnam University in Korea, China Research Center of Lingnan University, Asian Immigration Institute of Korea Jianguo University, Korea Research and Education Institute of Seoul Education University, Korea Culture Institute of Minzu University of China, and China Northeast History Research Center of Dalian University. The center has invited many scholars from the United States, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan to visit. All members of the center have participated in international or domestic academic conferences in related research fields, which are very prominent and effective in the frequency and density of exchanges.

Since 2007, this discipline has hosted or co-hosted 10 international and domestic academic seminars. Beihua University attaches great importance to the construction and development of the center, and has specially set aside 1 1,000 square meters on the second floor of the office building in the south campus as the research room and reference room of the center, and invested more than 200,000 yuan to improve it, so that all members of the center have independent research rooms and campus networks. In order to expand its influence, the reference room has nearly 50 thousand books at home and abroad and more than 60 long-term subscriptions to periodicals. The center has also established an independent domain name website, which can easily communicate and cooperate with academic circles at home and abroad.

The East Asian History and Literature Research Center of Beihua University was formerly the Institute of Ancient Books of Beihua University, which was established in 1985. According to the actual needs of the expansion of the research field and research work of the former Institute of Ancient Books, the East Asian History and Literature Research Center of Beihua University was established in May 2004 with the approval of the President's Office of Beihua University. The academic team construction of East Asian History and Literature Research Center is reasonable, and the ladder structure is reasonable. Everyone has their own corresponding and stable research direction, which can fully meet the needs of the current central discipline team construction.

According to the needs of research field and discipline construction, the East Asian History and Literature Research Center has four research rooms. They are Northeast Literature Research Office, Northeast Economic Research Office, Northeast Ethnic Research Office and East Asian Regional History Research Office. The director of the research room is a professor and an associate professor respectively, with an office and a reference room. The research center has distinctive characteristics and outstanding achievements in the research field, and it is more influential in the province and at home.

The research results of the center are outstanding. Since 1985, with the goal of developing rural literature and promoting local culture, oriented to East Asia, based on profound cultural accumulation, and on the basis of all-round and in-depth excavation and research, two series of "Changbai Series Literature" and "East Asian Cultural Research" have been compiled. Now it has published 108, with a total of more than 50 million words. The contents include historical materials, local chronicles, archives, figures, poems, Manchu studies, agronomy, frontier, folklore, epigraphy, geography, Northeast Asia, monographs, etc. 13 sub-series. With its grand scale and rich connotation, it shows the world a cultural treasure house.

While compiling Changbai Series, scholars in this center have independently written nearly 30 academic works or participated in the editing of more than 30 academic monographs, with rich achievements.

Academic papers are one of the important ways to express the scientific research achievements of the center. According to incomplete statistics, central scholars have published more than 200 national articles, 400 provincial articles and 200 municipal articles. Many articles have been reproduced in full or in part by China People's Congress Press Information Center and abstracts of university journals of liberal arts, which has had a good influence in academic circles.

Scientific research projects are the outstanding performance of the center's scientific research ability. The national social science fund project, the Sino-Japanese cooperation project, the youth project of the Ministry of Education and the provincial social science project undertaken by the center are in a leading position among similar universities in the province. The center undertakes two national social science fund projects, and it is also the only two national social science fund projects of Beihua University. According to Liu Housheng, director and doctoral supervisor of Northeast Ethnic and Territorial Studies Center of Northeast Normal University, Manchu has a history of more than 300 years in the Qing Dynasty, with a high level of development, rich and vivid vocabulary and accurate and rigorous expression. It can be said that it is quite scientific and advanced, and it can be called the precious cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. Many Chinese classics, such as Four Books, Five Classics, Zuo Zhuan and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, have been translated into Manchu. However, as the third largest ethnic group in China, the population of Manchu has exceeded100000, but few people can speak Manchu. Experts in Manchu academic circles said sadly: "The extinction of a language is no less than the extinction of a species. If not rescued, spoken Manchu may disappear from history. " Since 1980s, Professor Liu Housheng has set up Manchu courses in Northeast Normal University, published Manchu Course, Concise Manchu Dictionary, China Manchu Dictionary and other academic monographs, trained many graduate students engaged in Manchu studies, and formed a distinctive research team, which has exerted great influence at home and abroad. The East Asia Center has an independent reference room with a collection of nearly 40,000 volumes and more than 70 kinds of periodicals, which provides a reliable data guarantee for the teaching and research of special history. Since 2007, more than 50 graduate students have been enrolled, and the employment rate has reached 100%. This discipline is the key supporting discipline of Beihua University. There are currently 14 teachers, including 3 professors, 6 associate professors, 3 teachers with doctoral degrees and 3 doctoral students.
