What books do people with comfortable private libraries keep at home?
Yes, I'm not sure whether it should be called an "old and comfortable private library". This is my private library with my books in it. My collection includes Easton and Franklin Press hardcover books (many of which are signed) and the first edition of hardcover books-many of which are signed.

I have books from private and professional publishers-many of them are limited edition and signed. I have some historic books, such as the English version of Uncle Tom's Cabin. Many of my books were written by authors, and their works touched me to some extent. I signed Truman? Capote, Tennessee? Williams and Joyce? Carol. Oates, Harry? Cruise, Stephen? Books by Kim and many others.

When we moved into our new home, we bought a bookcase 40 feet high from the floor to the ceiling, and we were full. Most of my books are novels. I don't like non-fiction books very much, although I also have some non-fiction books, including a rare paperback book, A Dictionary of Cultural Literacy. My books are rarely paperbacks, although I have some collections.

I have a James? Russell? A book written by James Russell Lowell contains a song that Mr Lowell wrote to Oliver on his 80th birthday. Wendell. Poems by Oliver Vendel Homas, but never published. I have a volume of Roosevelt's early books with a small card in it. Is that Eleanor? Roosevelt gave this book to her niece Alice? Roosevelt's.

Is this card Fritz's? And Eleanor wrote a children's book called Christmas with him. I managed to find the original version of Christmas and added it to my collection. This story shows how my library has developed over the years. One book leads readers to other books.

I began to collect the works of my favorite author, and before I knew it, I already had a large number of works by this author. I started collecting Harlan? Ellison signed the first edition, and now his works have a whole shelf-most of which I haven't read yet, waiting for retirement-coming soon. Similarly, I also have a lot of thunder? A book signed by ray bradbury is waiting to be read or reread.

Not all my books are signed first. Many of my books are paperbacks and hardcover editions, which are my favorite books or books I plan to read after retirement. I have never counted my books, so I don't know how many I have, but I can say for sure that I have more than 1000 books. I like reading again, so I have a lot of books, which I really like over the years.

This answer is long and in-depth, but I think you might like some details of my collection. smile ...
