Fuzhou High-tech Zone belongs to the national high-tech zone. Fuzhou High-tech Zone is one of the first batch of state-level high-tech zones approved by 199 1 the State Council, and its management mode is "one zone with multiple parks".

Fuzhou High-tech Zone has four science parks, Mawei, Hongshan, Cangshan and Taixi, covering an area of 5.5 square kilometers. Together with Fuzhou Software Park in the northwest corner, these four science parks form a crescent-shaped arc industrial belt, which is also the most concentrated area of high-tech enterprises in Fuzhou.

Progress in Expansion of Fuzhou High-tech Zone

The industrial base of Fuzhou High-tech Zone is an important part of Shang Jie-Nanyu-Nantong urban agglomeration, which has unique location, geography, natural and human conditions for developing high-tech industries. The planning orientation is Fuzhou City Sub-center and Fuzhou Ecological Science City. The industrial base is located in the west side of Fuzhou central city, adjacent to the foot of Qishan in the university town in the north, the Wulong River in the east, Qishan and Wuhu Mountain in the west and south, and Dazhangxi passes through the territory.

With the opening of major transportation infrastructure such as Tang Hong Bridge, Jinshan Bridge, Pushang Bridge and Bayside Bridge, the Shang Jie-Nanyu-Nantong area is more closely connected with the central city of Fuzhou, and will become one of the key development and construction areas in the central city of Fuzhou in the next few years.
