Oracle Dictionary is a dictionary that records Oracle Bone Inscriptions. In the late Qing Dynasty, Liu E, with the word Tieyun, wrote Tieyun Hidden Turtle, which was the first Oracle dictionary in China. In the preface of the book, Liu E describes the process of finding tortoise shell and animal bone characters and Wang's collection of ancient Oracle Bone Inscriptions, and describes the development process of characters from Oracle Bone Inscriptions to calligraphy and then to official script.

Basic Introduction Chinese Name: Oracle Dictionary mbth: Oracle Dictionary Works: The Hidden Tortoise of Tieyun Author: Wang Di 1, Pinyin Index,No. 1 The first Oracle Dictionary 1903 was published in lithography. 1903, Liu E selected 1058 pieces from his own collection of more than 5,000 pieces of Oracle bones and compiled six volumes of * * *. The original books include Preface by Luo Zhenyu and Wu Changmao and Preface by Liu E. Oracle Bone Inscriptions introduced the definition of Oracle Bone Inscriptions in detail, which was first proposed as "Yin people's knife and pen", which is of great significance. This book turned Oracle Bone Inscriptions from an "antique" studied by only a few scholars into Oracle Bone Inscriptions, making an indelible contribution to Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Oracle Bone Inscriptions wrote a book 19 15. Luo Zhenyu, a teacher of the Liu family in Shangyu, Shaoxing, selected dozens of plates from the unrecorded Oracle bones presented by the Liu family, photocopied them and published them, and named them "Beyond the Hidden Tortoise". 193 1, the preface to Wu Liu was reprinted by Shanghai cicada hermitage, followed by the tortoise hidden by iron clouds. Each piece is accompanied by Baoding's interpretation. Many rubbings in this book have been painted with white powder, with distorted handwriting and many mistakes in drawing and misinterpretation. 1939, Shanghai Comte Library obtained a batch of Oracle bones from Wu Zhenping's old collection of Huiji Institute, which were verified by Shen, Jin Zutong and Li Danqiu as old objects of Liu E. Although there are records in Tieyun Hidden Turtle, most of them are not. So I chose board 93, added a little note, and then explained the text, so I became a "turtle hidden in the iron cloud." 1925, Ye Yusen, a fellow villager in Liu E, got more than 300 pieces of Oracle bones 1300 left by Liu E, and selected 240 pieces from them to research and publish the Collection of Tieyun Hidden Turtles. 1959, Yan Yiping, Taiwan Province Literature and Art Publishing House, made a copy of the rubbings, rearranged and dated the Tieyun Hidden Turtle, and published a new edition of Tieyun Hidden Turtle 1043.
