The reader cards of the National Library are divided into temporary reader cards and long-term reader cards. China citizens and foreigners who have reached the age of 18 must bring their ID cards (or passports) and relevant documents to the west of the south gate of the main library or the west of the first floor of Jinwen Building of the branch library (room A2 12). To handle the borrowing function of the reader card, you need to meet the corresponding conditions and pay the deposit according to the regulations. The processing time of the National Library Reader's Card is as follows:

General library: long-term reader card: Monday to Sunday from 9:00- 16:30.

Temporary reader's card: Monday to Friday from 8: 30 to 18: 00.

Saturday to Sunday 8: 30- 16: 30

/kloc-temporary readers who come to the library after 0/8: 00 can enter the reading room with their ID cards (military ID cards, passports).

Branch library: long-term and temporary reader cards: Monday to Sunday from 9:00- 16:30.
