Hunan Safety Technology Vocational College, located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and established by the Emergency Management Department and the Hunan Provincial People's Government.
Formerly known as Changsha Coal Mine Safety Technology Training Center, the College was founded in 1984, and was jointly established by the China Municipal Government and the United Nations International Labor Organization. It is one of the two training bases directly under the State Administration of Work Safety, a national first-class safety production training institution and a national first-class coal mine safety training institution.
