1. Established a distinctive printing resource model.
With the rapid development of electronization and networking, electronic resources have become quite popular and tend to replace printed literature resources. As a geoscience professional library, we should interact with users according to their characteristics and preferences in the use of literature resources from the perspective of the development of this discipline, and build a printed resource collection with its own professional characteristics. Different from the traditional construction of printed resources, it is necessary to make an in-depth analysis of printed resources in our hospital, instead of building printed resources generally and without emphasis as in the past, we should order those classic documents with preservation value, key documents with professional characteristics and documents without electronic media in a targeted manner, and establish a collection of printed resources with professional characteristics in our hospital, so as to provide a material basis for building a perfect document information guarantee system.
2. Establish and improve the electronic resource guarantee mode.
With the rapid development of electronization and networking, the electronic publishing industry is booming. Because electronic information resources have the advantages of large amount of information, rapid growth, rapid update, easy retrieval, easy storage and replication. They are quickly accepted by users and quickly applied. Nowadays, users' demand for electronic resources is increasing and their dependence is getting deeper and deeper. Electronic resources have become the main collection resources of scientific research institutions' libraries and have been widely used. Electronic resources are usually expensive. In order to improve the level of electronic resources security, it is necessary to establish a personalized electronic resources security model according to the different needs of users. There are several modes to ensure the electronic resources of scientific research institutions:
(1) For electronic resources with universal and regular needs, they should participate in the procurement of resources groups organized by the information institutions of this system, and be open to the whole hospital. Because if a single library purchases from suppliers, it is difficult to gain an advantage in price and service. Only by purchasing electronic resources in the form of a group can we get the best price, the best service and the most satisfactory resources with the least funds.
(2) For special electronic resources that are commonly and frequently needed by a single research room or key research group in a general scientific research unit and cannot be purchased by participating in group procurement, the library responsible for document guarantee should invest funds to purchase them by itself to ensure the integrity of documents with professional characteristics.
(3) For those electronic resources that are generally needed in scientific research institutions but are not often used, you can choose to open a single node to ensure it. This can not only save the limited literature purchasing funds of the library, but also meet the information needs of users to the maximum extent.
(4) Due to the limited funds for literature procurement in the library of a single scientific research unit, the library must make full use of the * * * resources provided by various channels if it wants to comprehensively and deeply meet the diverse information needs of users. For example, the research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences can use all kinds of electronic resources ordered by the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and open to the whole hospital, and can also use all kinds of resources open to national platforms such as the National Science and Technology Literature and Book Center (NSTL). In addition, there are many free online resources, such as open access resources. These resources can not only save the purchasing funds of the library, but also ensure the quality to a certain extent. Therefore, we can make full use of it to supplement the extensive information needs of users.
(5) For some electronic resources that cannot be satisfied through the above channels, which are neither universal nor frequently used, they can be satisfied through third-party supply channels, such as original text transmission, interlibrary loan and other services.
3. A nationwide online joint cataloging and document delivery system has been established.
With the China Geological Library as the core, and in conjunction with the relevant units affiliated to China Geological Survey, we will build printed geoscience literature resources and network information resources, build a large-scale geoscience literature resources guarantee system, and provide a good service and exchange platform for literature retrieval, query and information release; It provides a software and hardware foundation for the in-depth excavation, analysis, collation and resource sharing of geoscience literature resources, and makes a better contribution to the development of geoscience and the breakthrough of geological prospecting. On the basis of this research, this paper puts forward the possibility and idea of constructing the online joint cataloging service system of geological literature information in geological prospecting industry, so as to realize the wider sharing of literature resources.
In order to meet the requirements of the rapidly developing information age for libraries, realize the automation, digitalization and networking of literature resources in the geological prospecting industry, and enjoy the literature data resources to the maximum. Based on the principles of unified planning, unified standards, gradual advancement, cooperative construction and collaborative management, an online joint cataloging center with China Geological Library as the core will be established to promote the online joint cataloging process of documents in the geological prospecting industry.
Online joint cataloging in geological prospecting industry refers to the organization and integration of literature information by using computer and network technology and integrated library resource retrieval system. The application of the system is to realize the unification of cataloging data through standardized operation to reduce the cost; Through the networking of literature resources, it can realize seamless docking with search engines and improve the utilization rate of library collection resources; Realize the integration of book selection, duplicate checking and purchase through online book selection system; Centralized management of detailed information of various library literature resources through location navigation; Through scientific research, new technologies and methods are introduced to meet the needs of the continuous development of libraries. Finally, the goal of * * survival, * * win-win and * * development of the membership library supported by the standardized organization model will be realized, which will bring more benefits to researchers.
China Geological Library has established the working platform of online joint cataloging system of literature information (online joint cataloging system for short). By integrating the earth science paper literature resources and network information resources of 27 related units affiliated to China Geological Survey, a guarantee system of earth science literature resources with China Geological Library as the core has been established, which provides a good service and exchange platform for literature retrieval, query and information release. On-line joint cataloging system has shown its powerful functions in deep mining, analysis, arrangement and resource sharing of earth science literature resources. If the online joint cataloging system can be further extended to all kinds of libraries in geological prospecting departments, and a "document resources * * * * protection system" can be constructed, it will be beneficial to further integrate the earth science literature resources, enrich and expand the literature resources, thus improving the coverage of the earth science literature resources * * * protection system and enabling earth scientists to search and query documents better, faster and more economically. In addition, through the expansion of the system, the exchange of literature information between different departments, the exchange and cooperation of personnel and the sharing of resources can be strengthened, and the influence of China Geological Library in the field of earth science literature information service can be further enhanced.
The online joint cataloging and * * * sharing service system of literature information of directly affiliated units of China Geological Survey was started in 2006. Firstly, the domestic online joint cataloging system is investigated, and the technology and service mode adopted by it are basically mastered. On this basis, the construction planning framework of the document resource sharing system platform of China Geological Survey is put forward.
On-line joint cataloging and acquisition of literature information * * * Building a * * * service system is mainly realized through collaborative development. China Geological Library cooperated with Beijing Beichuang Software Company to develop a set of library automation management system suitable for land and resources industry, including central library joint cataloging center and member library automation management system. According to the functions of the joint cataloging system and the needs of users, the contents of the joint cataloging system are determined, including the outline design model of online cooperative cataloging, batch uploading module, record updating and merging and collection information management module, user management, various data statistics and cost management module. At present, online cataloging service has been established with China Geological Library as the center and 2 1 unit library directly under the bureau. Readers can query the collection catalogue of the directly affiliated unit library through the retrieval platform, provide seamless connection service for end users, and build a big framework for the enjoyment and guarantee system of earth science literature resources.
The preliminary work has laid a solid foundation for the popularization and application of online joint cataloging system and accumulated rich experience. In the past six years, based on the basic principle of "building, using and improving", a joint cataloging and acquisition system has been formed from the construction of the central library first, then the trial implementation and finally the promotion, and the existing 2 1 member libraries and about 300,000 bibliographic databases have been gradually built. All libraries can enjoy the service of searching bibliographic data and literature resources. Within the scope of China Geological Survey, the way of book cataloging networking and reader retrieval convenience has been formed, which has improved the level of automation, networking and cataloging data standardization of China Geological Library and its subordinate libraries, and improved the ability of libraries directly under China Geological Survey to serve the vast number of scientific researchers.
According to the statistics of 20 10, the printed literature resources collected by the units directly under the China Geological Survey are about 1.4 million copies (table 1- 1), of which China Geological Library has about 650,000 copies, accounting for 46%. Its collection includes nearly 200 years of domestic and foreign geoscience documents since the enlightenment of modern geology; There are more than 0/0000 sets of geological maps of various countries in the world, and more than 20 large-scale domestic and foreign literature databases are running on the Internet. The library not only provides a platform and guarantee for earth science researchers to find and borrow documents, but also becomes an important place for collecting, sorting, storing and studying earth science documents. This has provided rich printing and digital resources for the Ministry of Land and Resources and the directly affiliated units of China Geological Survey, provided a strong guarantee for scientific researchers, laid a foundation for literature data resources for expanding the online joint cataloging system of literature information in geological exploration industry, and determined the leading role of China Geological Library in the industry.

In order to better realize the cluster service and enhance the service function, a literature resource system and an online public service system based on China Geological Library and involving 27 units around the world were established. Customized * * * service platforms, namely online joint cataloging platform, document delivery service platform, touch-screen electronic newspaper reading system and document resource remote access system (VPN), are designed to realize the seamless link between the library and the end users (readers), so as to develop networked services, diversified services and personalized services. At present, agreements have been signed with the Library of China Academy of Sciences, Geological Survey Institute of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Geological Survey Institute of Xizang Autonomous Region, Coal Geology Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Northwest Oilfield Company of China Petrochemical Company of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Geological Survey Institute of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Users can apply for literature requirements by email, telephone, etc. , and obtain the required literature resources (original or electronic version) from China Geological Library or other institutions at home and abroad.
Through continuous efforts, China Geological Library has initially formed a document resource collection framework with earth science characteristics. The main performance is the establishment of a super-large information resource collection database under the China Geological Survey, which realizes the * * * sharing of bibliographic information and literature resources. The main contents of the joint cataloging system are: Chinese books, periodical bibliographic records and collection information; Bibliographic records and collection information of western language books and periodicals; Joint catalogue of non-book materials, multimedia, electronic publications and online resources; Bibliographic records and collection information of books and periodicals in other languages The tailor-made online joint cataloging platform solves the technical support problem of uploading and downloading data by multiple libraries in the document sharing service system. The software interface is simple and clear, and has strong applicability, which provides a service and communication platform for document retrieval, query and information release. It provides a software and hardware foundation for in-depth excavation, analysis and collation of earth science literature resources and online joint cataloging of earth science literature resources.
In the construction of bibliographic database, all units have now used it normally, and all of them have completed the retrospective database construction of bibliographic data. At present, nearly 300,000 cataloging data have been implanted into the cataloging center system. The researchers of the Ministry of Land and Resources and the directly affiliated units of China Geological Survey can query the literature resources of the overall system in the cataloging center system. The cataloging center also ensures that after a library catalogued a book, other member libraries can share bibliographic information, which saves a lot of manpower and financial resources and forms a real library alliance. The system has realized the "* * * knowledge" in the collections of all units under the bureau, improved the efficiency and quality of library bibliographic database construction, and promoted the unified management, unified processing and resource sharing of literature resources.
On the basis of on-line joint cataloging of document information, the document delivery system of the United Nations geological industry is established. Through the directly affiliated units of China Geological Survey, Jilin University, Chengdu University of Technology and other universities, Xinjiang Coalfield Geology Bureau and other industrial units, with China Geological Library as the center, we provide literature guarantee services for the geological industry.
4.？ It has realized a wide range of literature information services.
By establishing an online joint cataloging center and document delivery system covering the geological prospecting industry, we will actively expand the online cataloging scope and gradually extend from the system of China Geological Survey to the national geological prospecting industry, and finally form an online cataloging service and retrieval platform centered on China Geological Library and covering key industries such as geological prospecting, coal, nonferrous metals, petroleum, gold, etc., so as to provide seamless connection services for end users and establish a "document resource enjoyment guarantee system". In order to realize the library resource sharing alliance composed of librarians, cooperation and technology in the digital age, it will bring more benefits to the library of every unit and researcher in the geological prospecting industry. Based on the construction of online joint cataloging system of China Geological Survey, the goal is cooperation, standardization, * * enjoyment, * * win-win and improvement. Further promote the leap from traditional manual management mode to automatic management of literature information resources in the national geological prospecting industry, including the bureau system, and finally realize the goal of * * * construction, * * enjoying collection resources, digital resources and mobile services, and realizing the common development of all member libraries. Establish a set of technical standard system and management system of online joint cataloging suitable for the actual geological prospecting industry, and provide technical support and institutional guarantee for establishing an online joint cataloging system that comprehensively covers the geological prospecting industry. The establishment of extensive online joint cataloging of literature in geological prospecting industry will further effectively organize loose literature resources, expand the information source of earth science literature and provide a convenient information platform for scientific researchers. The establishment of online joint cataloging system of literature information in geological prospecting industry and the operable "alliance" mode in the network era will promote the coordinated development of libraries in geological prospecting industry, promote the barrier-free exchange, * * construction, * * sharing and * * * management of literature information resources, and truly promote the efficient service of libraries.
