"The most important thing is that books can reach far, and there are poems and books in the abdomen to strengthen themselves." Primary and secondary schools, libraries and writers' associations have launched reading days to create a strong reading atmosphere. The following is the activity plan of reading day in the library. Welcome to reading.

Activity intention:

"Reading is the window of children's wisdom, the door to children's hearts and an important channel for a person's spiritual growth." In order to improve children's reading ability and learn to share the pleasure of reading with others, our library has specially launched the activity of "Learning with Books and Growing Happily" to let children know about "World Reading Day" (April 23rd), experience the joy of reading from the activity, and make children fall in love with reading.

Activity objectives:

1, through activities, cultivate children's good habits of loving reading and knowing how to read, improve children's reading ability and develop good reading habits.

2. Take World Reading Day as the carrier, stimulate teachers and students' reading interest in the form of story competition, and enrich the campus cultural atmosphere.

3. Understand the significance of "World Reading Day" through reading exchange activities, enhance parent-child reading interaction, and strengthen parents' early reading awareness.

Activity slogan: I read, I am happy; I read, I grow.

Activity content:

Activity 1, reading exchange meeting

Activity preparation: Each child brings two or three picture books to the garden.

Activity flow:

1. Parents are requested to simply write down their feelings after reading with their children and the reasons for recommending this picture book on the title page of the picture book brought by their children.

Second, the teacher will draw a book and put it on the shelf in order. Every weekend, ask children to choose a picture book to take home and read it with their parents. At the same time, parents are requested to record their feelings after reading.

Third, the teacher makes a picture book reading communication board, collects the reading photos of parents and children in each family, and posts the photos and parents' reading feelings on the display board.

Activity 2, parent-child bookmark making (middle and large classes can make their own)

Activity preparation: cardboard, corrugated paper, post-it notes, glue, double-sided tape, crayons, watercolor pens, scissors and other materials; Bookmarks that have been made; All kinds of bookmark pictures, bookmark display boards.

Activity flow:

I picture book appreciation and reading activities:

(1) The teacher leads the children to read story picture books and tell stories together.

(2) Teachers play CDs, so that children can read picture books with CDs.

Second, the story, children's songs performance activities:

(1) The teacher plays the CD, and asks the children to come to the stage. Play the children's songs and read them after the CD.

(2) The teacher asked the children to perform and read children's songs while doing actions on the stage.

(3) The teacher opens the courseware, plays the story, and lets the children tell the story with the story video.

Third, literacy game activities:

Strong winds are blowing.

How to play: The teacher will distribute the learned word cards to the children. The game begins: the teacher reads: "The wind blows". The children collectively said, "Blow where?" The teacher said, "Blow peace." (like and happy, for example) Children with these two cards immediately change seats and say out the cards they have.

Fourth, parent-child creative activities:

1. Teachers and children read and enjoy the story of picture books together.

2. The teacher tells the origin and function of bookmarks, so that children can understand the meaning of bookmarks.

3. Teachers show bookmarks and pictures of various bookmarks, and ask children to observe the characteristics of bookmarks carefully.

4. Parents and children began to make bookmarks, and teachers toured for guidance.

5. Bookmark display. Please put your bookmark on the bookmark display board.

Activity 3: Tell a short story (suitable for children in middle and large classes)

Activity preparation: Please ask parents to practice telling picture book stories with their children at home.

Activity flow:

1. Set a small stage and background board in the photo gallery.

2. It is suggested that the teacher inform the children and parents one week in advance, so that the parents can help the children prepare a story that the children are familiar with and can tell completely, and the time is controlled at about 3 to 5 minutes.

From April 6th, after each course in the library, set aside 5~ 10 minutes, and arrange two children to tell you stories at a time.

4. It is suggested that teachers distribute information to parents in advance, ask parents to arrange time to watch their children tell stories, and ask parents to abide by the rules of picture books.

It is suggested that the teacher should let each child take turns.

On April 6 1 day, a child will be arranged to tell a story every week when a national flag gives a speech.

Activity 4: Making parent-child picture books

Activity flow:

First, picture book appreciation activities:

(1) Teachers and children are sitting around. The teacher shows the story of the picture book and asks the children to tell the contents in the cover and title page of the picture book. The teacher tells a complete story and asks the children to listen to the teacher's story quietly.

(2) The teacher guides the children to pick up the books in an orderly way, so that the children can read the CD while reading a book. Teachers should control the speed of reading CDs according to children's reading speed.

Second, the story, children's songs performance activities:

(1) The teacher arranged the classroom as a picture book story scene, and the teacher led the children to perform the picture book scene with courseware pictures.

(2) Teachers lead children to perform according to the story content of picture books, guide children to observe and imagine meowing and squeaking expressions, movements and tones to imitate performances, and encourage children to boldly perform on stage.

(3) Teachers invite children to perform reading children's songs and telling stories on stage, and encourage children to read children's songs loudly and do actions while reading children's songs; When telling stories, children are not required to tell them all, as long as they are willing to tell stories with the teacher and can tell the dialogues of the characters in the picture book.

Third, parent-child literacy game activities:

Touch it

How to play: Every time three couples are invited to the stage, each child and parent holds a word card. The teacher reads children's songs: "find a friend, touch it, find a friend, touch it." The child asked, "Who touched whom?" The teacher said, "Touch butterflies in spring." Children or parents with spring and butterfly cards in their hands immediately ran to touch each other, and the teacher checked whether the words touched together were correct and praised them in time.

Fourth, parent-child creative activities:

Activity preparation: crayons, watercolor pens, scissors, picture book stickers, picture book creative books and other materials.

1. The teacher found an area outside the picture book house and decorated the regional environment as a parent-child picture book area.

2. The teacher should tell parents that it is best to let the children draw the contents of this book by their own imagination. Parents should help their children sort out the plot and attach words.

3. The teacher should inform each parent in the form of materials, and ask parents to come to the park on time to participate in the production of parent-child picture books.

Activity 5: Little Ladybug Photo Gallery Story Meeting (suitable for middle and large class children)

1, encourage children to bring more books and continue to carry out book lending activities.

2. Let the children check the books in the book corner, repair and arrange them in time, so that the books in the book corner can be kept in order and the environment is clean and tidy.

On April 23rd, a story meeting was held. Every child in Little Ladybug Picture House participated in the activity and told a story about Little Ladybug Picture House.

Competition requirements:

-choose the story content of the little ladybug picture book library.

-timbre and pronunciation: loud voice, clear articulation and natural and beautiful timbre;

-Expression: natural and generous, which can enhance the appeal of the story with corresponding actions;

-Proficiency: being able to speak completely without stopping;

-All costume props are in place;

-Handling of the story: it can be handled appropriately according to the story.

Participants: Inviting the director, teachers and students of the whole park, and parents of the library.

4. During the activity, collect the activity photos of each participating child, the photos after the story meeting and the story names of the participating children, edit simple and interesting clips during the competition and display them on the reading activity wall of the photo library.

Childcare work:

Call on parents to actively participate in the activity of "Accompanied by Scholars, Growing up Happy".

1. Parents are advised to take their children to the library to read books, go to bookstores and buy books online, broaden reading channels and strive to enrich family bookcases.

2. Parents are advised to set half an hour before going to bed every day as "family reading time" and carry out "parent-child reading" for 30 minutes every night to promote the feelings and communication between parents and children.

3. Parents are invited to actively participate in the activities of the picture library, feel the fun of reading with their children, and establish good reading habits for their children.
