"I wonder when I can go home every day." Before departure, You Jianfeng made a lot of preparations until boarding the plane. According to him, in Cambodia, there are more than 100 people in the hometown of Sichuan Linshui, and at least one third of them have returned home this Spring Festival. This is also the first time that You Jianfeng has returned to China in three years. On the university campus, he saw his daughter from a distance, and tears welled up in his eyes.

For the first time in three years, You Jianfeng returned to China and was finally reunited with his family.

On February 7, 2022, at 65438, he boarded a plane from Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Chengdu. Before he left, he took a photo with his mobile phone, and several fellow villagers behind him made a victory gesture. Several people are wearing N95 masks, but their eyes are full of smiles.

Before returning to China, he and his wife and daughter started a WeChat group, and the three people "reported" in the group every day. You Jianfeng works in Cambodia, his wife runs a bathroom business in Linshui County, Sichuan Province, and his daughter is a graduate student at Chengdu Dianzi University. In the past three years, WeChat group has become the main information link of this family.

"I wonder when I can go home every day." Before departure, You Jianfeng made a lot of preparations, inquired about the flight information in detail, and was afraid of problems until he boarded the plane. He said that in Cambodia, there are more than 100 people in the hometown of Sichuan Linshui, and at least one third of them have returned home during the Spring Festival this year. Everybody anxious to return, most of the people who didn't come back were unable to spare time at work.

You Jianfeng is preparing to board the plane at Phnom Penh Airport in Cambodia.

In recent years, You Jianfeng, like a "wanderer", has been working outside, working in Guangdong in his early years, and later went to Cambodia. This check-in is 15. Before the outbreak, he went home from Cambodia almost twice a year. But in the past three years, there have been few flights and expensive air tickets, so many migrant workers can only choose to wait.

After returning to China, the policies of Class B and Class B management have not been implemented. You Jianfeng was quarantined in a hotel in Chengdu for five days and returned to Linshui County for a few days. Then, he couldn't wait to drive more than 300 kilometers with his wife from Linshui County to Chengdu. On the campus of Chengdu Dianzi University, he saw his daughter's figure from a distance, with tears in his eyes.

Get what you want:

At a family gathering, he cried when he saw his daughter far away.

The plane ticket was bought a month ago. It turned out that Phnom Penh flew directly to Chongqing. You Jianfeng and several fellow villagers were well prepared, and even asked relatives to send several sets of protective clothing from China. Although it didn't work in the end, I came prepared.

As the trip approached, the flight to Chongqing was suddenly cancelled, and they quickly booked a ticket to Chengdu. My heart is always restless and worried about what will happen again. Everyone has asked for leave from the company, and the procedures for returning to China and even from China to Cambodia have been completed, and there is no room for any mistakes.

You Jianfeng said that in the past three years, the ticket price has finally returned to the affordable range of migrant workers. This Spring Festival, he was the first China native to go home from Cambodia for the New Year. On the evening of 65438+ 10 19, You Jianfeng told the Red Star journalist that many fellow villagers had returned to China in the last month.

You Jianfeng walked with three neighboring villagers. On the evening of February 7, 65438, their hotel in Chengdu began to be isolated. Five days later, he returned to his home in Linshui County. According to the epidemic prevention regulations at that time, he only needed to be isolated at home for another three days, but in order to be "safer", he was isolated at home for a week.

"Counting time every day is both anxious and exciting." As soon as the isolation at home was over, he and his wife drove to Chengdu to see their daughter. My daughter has been in the third year of master's degree and found a part-time job. When I arrived at my daughter's school, my daughter said I still had 20 minutes to get off work.

On the campus of Chengdu Dianzi University, You Jianfeng was finally reunited with his wife and daughter.

You Jianfeng is familiar with the campus of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and his daughter has taken him around many times. Last time I went to school, my daughter was still studying undergraduate, and now she is about to graduate with a master's degree. You Jianfeng has been to her daughter's dormitory, as well as school canteens, libraries, laboratories and many other places. There are many ginkgo trees on campus, and he likes them very much.

You Jianfeng, who is waiting for her daughter on campus, saw her daughter coming from a distance, and her eyes were full of tears. When his daughter came forward, his face was full of tears. He said that his daughter was very good and sensible since she was a child, and she was very close to him. He often feels sorry for his daughter and has not been with him since he was a child. He has been working outside, first in Guangdong and then in Cambodia.

The last photo taken with my wife and daughter was three years ago.

It was a sunny day, a family of three finally reunited, and ginkgo leaves fell on campus.

After returning home:

What hasn't changed is the deep affection.

After seeing her daughter in Chengdu, You Jianfeng visited some relatives and friends again, and then returned to Linshui. Many relatives concentrated on Yang. You Jianfeng served as everyone's "fireman", responsible for cooking and then sending it to the side.

You Jianfeng said that at most, he cooks for six families at the same time. Turn around day and night every day, get up in the morning to buy food, start cooking when you come back, pack it next to you after eating, and then drive to relatives' homes. When he came back, he began to prepare dinner again. Some relatives need to buy medicine and other things, and he also does it separately. Most relatives live in Linshui County, but some relatives are 10 kilometers away from his home.

You Jianfeng is an open-minded and cheerful person with many friends. I used to get together with friends, comrades-in-arms and classmates every time I came back, but this time I came back, he has been busy. "A group of people don't have time to meet. I only have time to get together alone after the year."

Family reunion after returning to China

Back home, he also found some changes brought about by the epidemic, but what did not change was the deep family affection, and even became more enthusiastic and excited when they met. Many relatives and friends joked: "I haven't come back for a few years. Have you settled there?" He just gave a wry smile. In the last three years, he has been more homesick than ever in Cambodia.

You Jianfeng said that an epidemic has also occurred in Cambodia, and many fellow villagers have been infected, and some symptoms are also very serious. Before the outbreak, villagers in Cambodia held a party almost every month, and everyone who could go would come, and a few friends would get together to solve the wandering and loneliness in a foreign country. However, during the epidemic, for more than a year, local China people hardly had any gatherings.

"We may be more concerned about the epidemic than people at home." You Jianfeng said that they always pay attention to domestic news and understand flight information. When several fellow villagers get together, drink and chat, home becomes a topic that can never be avoided.

Continue to struggle:

I will go to Cambodia after the Chinese New Year and have no plans to "retire".

You Jianfeng was a soldier for 4 years, worked in Guangdong garment industry for many years, and went to Cambodia in 2007. At that time, the company set up a factory in Cambodia, and he was transferred to be in charge of management. 10 years have passed, and he has been in this industry. At that time, his wife also worked outside with him and went to Cambodia together, and his daughter was taken care of by her grandparents.

In 2009, in order to take care of her daughter, her wife returned to her hometown, Linshui County, to run the clothing business first, and then to sell sanitary wares in partnership with friends. The family went their separate ways, and after their daughter went to college, they separated.

You Jianfeng told Red Star that there are many Sichuanese working in Cambodia, and there are many China people in Guang 'an, Dazhou, Nanchong and Suining. There are business people and migrant workers, among whom the garment industry has the largest number of employees. He said that these garment workers in Cambodia are factory managers. Most of them have lived there for many years, and they have become familiar with the environment and their work there. "Many people are in their forties and fifties, and they can't find a suitable job when they come back."

You Jianfeng introduced that in Cambodia, there are more than 100 people in the hometown association of Linshui County alone. "More than a third of them came back this time, and almost all of them returned to China for the first time in three years. Most of them failed to come back because of work reasons. "

During the epidemic, Cambodia's clothing industry was also affected to some extent. On the one hand, orders decrease, on the other hand, logistics costs increase. You Jianfeng said that he believes that the future will usher in a stage of recovery. Work in Cambodia is relatively stable at present.

He is going out again, and plans to leave after the New Year. You Jianfeng, 49, has no plans to retire. "Maybe when I can't do it, I will choose to come back."
