Nianyushan Township is located in the middle of Shangcheng County. It is connected with Ji Feng Town and Chicheng Sub-district Office in the east, Nianyushan Reservoir in the south, Wangqiao Town and Wuhe Township in the west, and Hefengqiao Town and Sanliping Township in the north. 1962 belongs to zhaifan and chengguan commune, and Nianyushan Reservoir was built in 197 1 county. Some brigades of Zhaifan Commune belong to submerged areas, while others separated from Chengguan Commune were renamed Nianyushan People's Commune on July 1983. The total area is 94.3 square kilometers, including cultivated land 14565 mu, forest land 27258 mu and water area 2250 mu.
