Shanghai University of Political Science and Law was founded in 1984, formerly known as Shanghai School of Political Science and Law Management and some departments of Shanghai University Law School. The college is affiliated to the Political and Legal Committee of Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.
