How do 3-year-old children measure their eyesight?
How do 3-year-old children go to the hospital to check their eyesight? For children of different ages, there are generally different methods of vision examination.

1, monocular covering method: cover one eye of the child to see if the child responds. If the child's poor eyesight is covered, then the child may not have any reaction at this time. On the contrary, if the child is blindfolded, the child may cry because he can't see clearly.

2, lighting test: use a flashlight and other equipment to illuminate the child's eyes to see if the child's pupils will shrink, if so, then the light perception of the eyes is normal.

3. Check whether the eyeball is symmetrical: check the outline of the eye under diffuse light. Including the size of the eyeball and whether the risk shape is symmetrical. Preschool children generally suffer from recessive rest or esotropia, but a few patients have exotropia. Covering your eyes can be a good way to judge whether it is dominant or recessive.

4, mydriasis examination: do optometry treatment, make a preliminary judgment according to the optometry results, see if the child's vision is abnormal, if so, it should be corrected in time.
