According to the "Regulations on the Management of Visiting Siming Campus of our University" and the actual situation, the campus opening arrangements for the 20 10 Dragon Boat Festival holiday are hereby notified as follows:
From June 7 to June 9, 2008, the number of tourists received by our school did not exceed 10000, and there were 5000 at 08:00- 13:00 and 18:00 respectively.
During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, you still need to make an appointment through the official WeChat account of "U Xiamen University", and make an appointment 72 hours in advance (08:00 or 13:00 three days in advance). If there are special circumstances, we will inform you in the official account of "U Xiamen University" WeChat. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Library opening hours
According to the notice of the school about the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2008, the opening arrangements of the library on June 7, 2008 (Dragon Boat Festival, Friday) are as follows:
Siming campus: the main service desk of the main library (only books can be borrowed and returned, and the basic stacks and study rooms are open all day; All branches are closed all day.
Xiang 'an Campus: Wangde Library is open all day, and the main service desk is open at 9:00- 12:00, 14:30- 17:30.
I hereby inform you that all points will resume normal opening on June 8, 2008.
Analysis on the Tourism Path of Xiamen University
Xiamen University (Siming Campus) has two gates that allow visitors to enter, namely the West Gate (opposite Fuwanbang Commercial Plaza) and the South Gate (near Nanputuo). Let's start from these two doors now, so that you won't miss every stop. The main attractions of Xiamen University are: Furong Lake, Furong Tunnel, Lover Valley, Jiannan Great Hall, Shangxian Field, Qunxian Buildings (including School History Museum, Planning Management Museum, Chen Jiageng Memorial Hall, Lu Xun Memorial Hall, Yanwu Gymnasium, Jiageng Building Complex, Furong Building Complex, Humanities Museum, etc. ). The following route provides us with a reference route. Lover's Valley is a bit far (one way 65438). The overall browsing time of Xiamen University is about 1.5 hours (excluding Lover's Valley).

2. Xiamen University West Gate
The west gate is built in the west of Qunxian Building Group, the old main building of Xiamen University. It was completed in March with a donation of 654.38+million dollars from Taiwan Province compatriots and honorary alumni of our school. The west gate is 7.4m high and 25m long, with a building area of120m2. It is made of granite, with a curved surface extending from left to right and a rectangle with a slightly inclined upper corner as the modeling keynote, and a symmetrical composition with relief as the main part on it to reflect the solemnity and cultural connotation of the university gate. The whole shape is simple, bright, stretched and full of modernity.
