Xishiku Church, whose real name is Savior Church, commonly known as Beitang, is located at No.33 Xishiku Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. It is a Catholic church, opened in 1703, and has long served as the bishop's cathedral of the Catholic diocese of Beijing. It is one of the largest and oldest churches in Beijing.
Xishiku Church was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Beijing in 1984. In June 2006, it was listed as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

The building area of the north hall of the church is about 2200 square meters, the height is 16.5 meters, and the spire of the bell tower is about 3 1 meter. There is a platform in front of the hall, with white marble railings on three sides. The front of the hall is inlaid with white marble and engraved with the icon of the good shepherd of Jesus. There are two Chinese-style stone pavilions on both sides of the main entrance of the lobby, in which there are the stone tablets for the relocation of the Catholic Church in the 14th year of Guangxu (1889) and the stone tablets for the Catholic Church in Manchu and Chinese respectively.
In addition to the main building, Sishiku Church also has a large number of ancillary buildings, including library, back garden, printing house, orphanage, hospital, Guanghua Girls' Middle School, Sister Yue Se Monastery and the Bishop's Office of Catholic North China Diocese. Today, most of these annex buildings are occupied by other units, and only Sister Joseph Monastery is still in use, which is located in the northwest of the church.
