The library is now jointly managed by songshan road Campus Library, Zhongyuan Road Campus Library and Lianhua Street Campus Temporary Building. The building area of songshan road Campus Library is 5397m. The construction area of Zhongyuan Road Campus Library is 6280 square meters. The planned construction area of the modern library in the new campus of Lianhua Street is 40,000 square meters. After the new building is completed, the total construction area of the library will reach 50,356 square meters.
The library of Henan University of Technology was formed in 2005 by the merger of the former Zhengzhou Institute of Technology Library and Zhengzhou Institute of Technology Library. At present, it consists of Lianhua Street Campus Central Library, songshan road Campus Branch Library and 18 Department Reference Room, with a total area of about 50,000 square meters, of which Lianhua Street Campus Central Library covers an area of 40,296 square meters, which is a modern large-scale library building.
