Guangzhou Qi Ming School, formerly known as Guangzhou School for the Blind, was founded on 1889 and closed on 1970 to 1988. It reopened in the late 1980s and was renamed Guangzhou Qi Ming School in April 20 15. Zimingxin Wenmu School and Mingxin Academy have been relocated for 1 and 3 1 years. This is one of the oldest schools for the blind in China.
Lai Kaihong, Party Secretary of Qi Ming School, said that the new campus is located in Zhong Luotan Town College Park, Baiyun District, covering an area of 108 mu. It is planned to establish a visually impaired education guidance center in the province to provide training for more volunteers, parents and even ordinary school teachers and do a good job in integrated education. At the same time, the Qi Ming School Branch of the Chinese Braille Library in the new campus will serve the visually impaired people in the whole province and even the whole country.
