Buy old newspapers in Hong Kong
Hong Kong Central Library and University Library collect old newspapers from Hong Kong for on-site borrowing, but not for sale. If there are no university contacts, such as classmates or academic exchanges, outsiders are generally not allowed to use the library.

As for the Hong Kong Central Library, which is open to non-Hong Kong people, you only need to apply for a library card. The methods are as follows;

Residents who are not in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, such as tourists visiting Hong Kong, may apply for temporary library cards through the following channels:

Fill in and submit the library card application form in person at any Hong Kong public library;

The applicant must fill in the guarantee column in the form and be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;

The applicant shall also submit the following documents for verification:

Their travel documents;

Original or photocopy of the applicant's Hong Kong identity card and Hong Kong residence permit.

In the museum, according to the copyright law, only limited copying is allowed. A4-sized photocopies cost fifty cents per page.
