From 65438 to 0994, the Press and Publication Administration and the Bureau of Religious Affairs jointly signed the Regulations on the Administration of Receiving Printed Bibles. According to national regulations, the Bible is only allowed to be distributed internally, and cannot be regarded as a general book, and cannot be sold in bookstores.
The publication, printing and distribution of the Bible are not reported to the Press and Publication Administration for approval, but to the State Bureau of Religious Affairs for approval. The annual printing number is controlled within a certain amount, and Nanjing Aide is the only printing factory in China. Therefore, China is probably one of the few countries that can't even read the Bible in the library.
Bibles are religious articles, which are not as good as those sold in domestic libraries and bookstores, because they may involve copyright and religious issues, and can generally be bought in churches. Although the Bible sells well all over the world, in China, books are not sold in bookstores, but can be purchased through religious associations or churches.
The influence of the Bible
It is estimated that there are more than 2.5 billion religious believers in the world, accounting for more than three-fifths of the global population. Among them, there are as many Christians as/kloc-0.5 billion, and the Bible is the classic with the greatest social influence and the widest spread area in Christianity.
For two thousand years, it has not only dominated the spiritual life of generations of Christians, but also widely influenced every corner of secular society. In western Christian countries, the Bible is still a "popular book" known to women and children.
In medieval Europe, Christian theology was absolutely dominant. Because the church believes that the Bible is the revelation of God, the general program of faith, the principle of life and the eternal truth, this book has supreme authority.
