Experience Sharing of Postgraduate Entrance Examination for Information and Communication Engineering Major, University of Science and Technology Beijing

First, about choosing schools and majors.

First of all, let me talk about my own situation. The school I applied for is University of Science and Technology Beijing, and my major is Information and Communication Engineering (Master) of School of Information and Electronics. The subjects for postgraduate entrance examination are Mathematics I, English I and Politics, and the specialized course is Introduction to Signal Processing (826).

Let's talk about this major again: Information and Communication Engineering is one of the trump cards of University of Science and Technology Beijing, and the School of Information and Electronics is also one of the best schools in the school, with a strong faculty. The number of students enrolled in this master's degree is about four or five hundred, which can be said to be a very large college. Moreover, this major is also the most advanced at present, and it is as popular as computers in recent years. The research content can be divided into two categories: traditional communication and emerging artificial intelligence. Communication has both hardware realization and software simulation, both for civil and military purposes, especially for radar. In artificial intelligence, there are image processing and text processing. After graduation, you can go to algorithm engineer with good pay. Regardless of the specific direction, it is easy for graduates to go to military units, research institutes and Internet companies, and because they are located in the capital Beijing, they are worth applying for.

In the past two years, the school's score has been hovering between 365,438+05-320. The scores of students majoring in general information and communication engineering are about 15-20 points higher than the school line, with a full score of 500 in the initial test and a full score of 100 in the second test. The final score is judged according to the initial test *0.5+ retest score *5*0.5, which means that the initial test and retest scores are different. The overall enrollment ratio is about 1:5, and the re-examination ratio is about 1.7. After all, as a 985 university in Beijing, the difficulty of postgraduate entrance examination is relatively not very simple, but it will not be like a bunch of immortals fighting in the north of Qing Dynasty, and there is no problem in efforts. If your initial test is above 350 and you are basically stable, you can basically transfer to the master's degree in our college even if your second test is almost the same, and generally there will be no learning failure. This is an advantage of applying for a master's degree.

Second, the initial experience sharing

The overall time planning of reviewing experience in open classes;

1, Phase I (March-end of June)

Mathematics (3 hours a day): When reading the textbooks of advanced mathematics, linear algebra and probability theory, we must make clear the basic concepts and theorems, and do all the exercises after class well, so don't rush to make a whole book. After reading the textbook, you can try to do a set of real questions to see where the difficulty lies. It's normal not to write a few questions.

English (65438+ 0-2 hours a day): English is just memorizing words.

There should be a lot of people in class. There are many professional courses in junior year, so study hard!

2. The second stage (July to the end of August)

The most difficult two months, I stayed at school to review. Everyone knows how hot it was last summer. We must stick to it. But this is really just the beginning.

Math (6 hours a day, 14:00-20:00): You can start writing the whole book. It's really comprehensive, but personally, the focus is not very prominent. Do the examples yourself, don't just watch and don't do them, because that won't have any effect at all. Do the exercises well. It is not enough to read the whole book. Finally, I watched it twice.

English (3 hours a day, 8:00- 1 1:30): Needless to say, the importance of real questions is about to begin. Do one set every week, don't be greedy. To do a set, you must understand, not only the correct answer, but also summarize the reasons for doing something wrong. English real questions should also be done at least twice. In addition, you can also try to write 150 swords, just one sword a day. There is still a gap between his question and the real question, but you can increase your reading and vocabulary. You don't have to do it if you don't want to, just figure out the real problem.

Specialized courses (2 hours a day, 20: 00-22: 00): Review specialized courses in August, read textbooks and do exercises after class.

Politics (65438+ 05 minutes a day): I recommend you to have a look. We are all engineering students with little foundation. You can watch it before going to bed, just the part of modern history, because you can't watch the rest.

3. The third stage (September-65438+1mid-October)

Math (5 hours a day, 14:00- 19:00): I started to read the whole book for the second time, which is a little faster than the first time, but I still have to do the examples and exercises again. You can sum up commonly used formulas and theorems by yourself and spend some time writing them down every day. Students with good foundation can do 660 questions, all of which are multiple-choice questions and fill-in-the-blank questions, but it is very difficult, and students with poor foundation can't do it.

English (3 hours a day, 7:00- 10:00): Continue to set a set of real questions every week, and begin to recite the composition.

Politics (2 hours a day, 10:00- 12:00): Look at it in combination with strong grass in the wind, and then do the supporting exercises of Xiao Xiurong's 1000 and strong grass in the wind, all of which are multiple-choice questions. There is no need to support politics these days.

Specialized course (4 hours a day, 19: 00-23: 00): read textbooks and make a question bank.

4. The fourth stage (65438+1mid-October-one week before the exam)

Math (5 hours a day, 14:00- 19:00): To solve real problems, you can use the whole book as a reference book and keep two sets of final simulations.

English (65438+ 0.5 hours a day, 8:30- 10:00): recite the composition, practice and write more. The second real question should be about the same. The last two sets of real questions are reserved for pre-test simulation.

Politics (3 hours a day, 7: 00-8: 00, 10:00- 12:00): You can watch Grass in the Wind in the morning, which is faster. Do the wrong multiple-choice questions again. 20 days before the exam, you can start reciting 20 questions for 20 days and set sail, depending on the situation and policies. All kinds of sprint papers will come out in a few days. Just buy Xiao Xiurong's and Ren Rufen's, mainly do multiple-choice questions, and then be sure to ask the big questions on the back.

Specialized course (4 hours a day, 19:00-23:00): In fact, I scored 12 and did a set of real questions every two days. Actually, it's not difficult. Even if the amount of calculation is a little large, I will do it again and again. I recommend you buy a Casio artifact, which is very convenient to calculate complex numbers and can save a lot of time. The other three professional courses are still reading textbooks, examples and exercises in books.

5. Sprint stage (last week)

Arrange two days for yourself to simulate math, English and professional courses. Politics doesn't need simulation, just rote learning.

Because I think the school library is still very good, that's enough, and the rest are just clouds. So everyone must believe in themselves! I can be admitted by my unremitting efforts, and I also summed up the formula for the success of the postgraduate entrance examination: correct understanding of my ability+correct learning methods+enough efforts+persistence = success!

6. Summary:

Math book: review book for postgraduate entrance examination, 660 questions, real questions for postgraduate entrance examination by Zhang Yu, questions for Zhang Yu 180, and simulation volume 6+ 1. The last two volumes of Haitian postgraduate entrance examination.

English books: love stories, real English questions and English compositions (choose any one).

Political book: Xiao Xiurong wants to buy everything, and the market simulation questions only make choices.

Matters needing attention in detailed review of each subject:

1, mathematics

Mathematics is more difficult. If the foundation is good, I don't recommend watching video courses. Just review the formula theorem and brush the questions directly. Zhang Yu's final question will be somewhat difficult and biased. You can do it if you have the ability, but you don't have enough energy to watch it. Just brush the basic questions you have done before. Set aside 3-5 days before the exam, repeat the questions you did wrong before, and write down the places that are prone to careless mistakes and need attention. When you usually do it, you must calculate the time and rehearse it several times, so as not to finish answering in the examination room. Mathematics should be started earlier, because specialized courses also need a lot of mathematics foundation, so before reviewing specialized courses, mathematics should be studied at least once.

2. English

English one is more difficult than English two. I hope I can understand that there are differences in question types, difficulty and score distribution. English reading 50, composition 30, translation 10, full score 10. What matters is reading and writing.

To learn English well, the first thing is to ensure a certain vocabulary. It is recommended to be familiar with paper books in the early stage and memorize them with mobile phone software in the later stage. First, it is more efficient, and second, it can be remembered anytime and anywhere. Software, I suggest that you can use the software equipped with Ebbinghaus forgetting curve, such as memorizing words. The rule summarized after the test is that the difficulty of remembering words should be distinguished, simple words should be remembered quickly and less often, difficult words should be remembered more often, and the time spent should be tilted. In fact, simple words can still be remembered several times, and difficult words can't be remembered without mentioning them separately, and they are always right or wrong, mixed with simple words. One advantage of this software is that each word can automatically choose the frequency of occurrence according to your memory. If the word you know appears, you can choose to let it appear later next time, and the frequency of appearance will be reduced. If it is a difficult word, you can make it appear again and again. After one or two times, there is a screening of the whole postgraduate entrance examination words. Difficult words appear repeatedly, and simple words appear for people to review later. Later, because the difficult words are repeated, that is, simple words, then the whole is flat and more efficient. I can probably learn 1000 words in the next 20 minutes.

After mastering a certain vocabulary, what you need to do is to learn how to read. There are quite regular types of questions in postgraduate reading, such as guessing words and topic questions. I recommend that you listen to Tang Chi's reading aloud. When reading, you should forget your own methods and accept the teacher's methods. Don't refute or doubt. Postgraduate study is quite regular, and there are rules to follow. Teachers have studied English reading for more than ten years. Teacher Tang spoke very vividly and carefully, which was the choice of many people. Moreover, English only has real questions for reference, so we must cherish the real questions. When doing each problem, we must find out why, according to where, why and why not, according to where, and develop a rigorous and meticulous style of doing the problem. English reading must be very important and often won by readers all over the world, so reading for a long time before the exam is the main task.

As for composition, if you have time in advance, you can also take a look at some courses, such as Shi Leipeng and Liu Xiaoyan, who are both candidates. Last year, I didn't have time to recite the template, which was not a big problem. However, if you have enough time, it is good to master some basic things. If you want to change in the future, you can refer to the template of Peking University seniors and the template that you can't participate in the postgraduate entrance examination. When it is hot in the later stage, all the research friends will fight, so pay attention.

Generally speaking, English is to improve the correct reading rate, prepare the composition well, and strive for more points in translation and cloze. About 70 is no problem. If you can get this score, the pressure of other subjects will be greatly reduced.

3. Politics

Politics I don't think you need to recite a whole paragraph except for multiple-choice questions. Politics can also be reviewed earlier, and you can look at it when you are upset in math class, mainly fragmentary knowledge points. The key to answering questions is understanding. Buy a bet paper before the exam. Xiao Xiurong's bet paper can be said to be very accurate, and the big question can hit 70% to 80%. You can recite all the answers after you buy them, but you must have your own things, otherwise the answers will not be easy to score.

I got 35 points on the big question. My experience is to analyze the answer direction and logic of each question, such as the past, today and tomorrow, economic ecology, politics, culture and society, others, at home and abroad and so on. I know where each question can be answered. Even if there is nothing in my mind, I can write as much as I can according to different points and different aspects. The work on major political issues also started about half a month before the exam.

4. Professional courses

Bibliography of specialized courses

Signals and Systems, Random Signal Analysis and Digital Signal Processing (Revised Edition) are all green cover books published by beijing institute of technology press.

Introduction to signal processing (826) includes three subjects: signal and system, digital signal processing and random signal. Signals and systems are compulsory, and digital signal processing and random signals are selected during the examination. These subjects can refer to undergraduate textbooks, which are all green cover books published by University of Science and Technology Beijing Press. 80% of the subjects are as difficult as the undergraduate final exam, and 20% will be slightly more difficult, but not too difficult. You can find the final questions from previous years to do. Professional courses start from 1 1 month, and the basic knowledge should be understood before 1 1 month. You don't need too many extra books, just brush the final questions and previous years' questions twice. The signal and system are like this. If you choose digital signal processing, you can also brush the questions. If you choose random signals, read more books. The topic has changed in the past two years, and you begin to pay attention to the derivation and proof of formulas and theorems. About 40 out of 60 points are like this, mainly for memory. If you master it well, there is no problem with specialized courses. Give everyone a suggestion. If you are a cross-major postgraduate student or have a weak foundation, it is recommended to enroll in Xinxiangxu Postgraduate Counseling Course. The new Xu Xiang's tutoring features a one-to-one mode, in which teachers give targeted lectures, pay attention to key and difficult points, and study systematically in test sites, which greatly improves students. If students also study hard, it is not a problem to get a score of 120 in the professional course exam.

Third, the re-examination subjects include written examination and interview.

The written test is a specialized course and English listening. If you take the test together, a * * * will score 30 points. Professional courses include digital electricity and analog electricity, and the difficulty is similar to that at the end of the term. 60 points for professional course interview, and 0 points for oral English interview/kloc-0. Interviews for specialized courses include communication principles, random signals, dsp, signals and systems. Digital electricity and analog electricity may also be available, and professional courses in basic science may ask. Introduce yourself briefly after going in, and then lead to three questions. It feels like it depends on the eyes. It doesn't seem very important to answer right or wrong. After all, most of us don't know if our answer is right or wrong. Just don't be too nervous. Edit if you can. If not, say you don't know. If you are divergent, say more words to show your logical analysis ability.

The English interview takes about 10 minutes. The two teachers will ask and answer questions in English. At first, I will ask some daily expressions, self-introduction, hobbies and so on. Later, I will ask some questions about what professional courses you have studied and examine some simple professional vocabulary. If there is still time, I may really enter the field of communication. The scores of English interviews are mostly between 4 and 7.

If you don't have much perseverance when reviewing, then communicate with others more, understand the progress and efficiency of others, and urge yourself, but never get together to play. As long as you review well, you will be admitted.
