The school covers an area of 1688 mu, with a building area of 304,000 square meters, of which the Snow Sports Center (Baiqingzhai Campus) covers an area of 757 mu. There are 13 teaching, training and academic research institutions. The school is the first batch of authorized units of master's degree and professional master's degree in physical education in China. The first-level discipline of physical education consists of six two disciplines: sports humanities and sociology, sports anthropology, sports education and training, national traditional sports, sports management and sports rehabilitation. The school also has full-time (part-time) master's degree in physical education and master's degree in journalism and communication. The school is listed as the key construction university of "domestic first-class university" in Liaoning Province, and the physical education discipline is selected into the list of key construction disciplines of "domestic first-class discipline" in Liaoning Province.
