How should the baby spit milk?
1, keep the upper body elevated.

Once the vomit enters the trachea, it will cause suffocation. Therefore, when lying down, it is best to put a bath towel under the child to keep the upper body elevated. If the child is lying and spitting milk, we can turn the child's face to one side.

2. After spitting milk, pay more attention to observing the child's situation.

When the child is lying down, hold the child's head up, or simply hold the child straight. After spitting milk, the child's face may be bad, but as long as it can recover later, there is no problem. In addition, according to the situation, you can add some water to your child appropriately.

3. Replenish water 30 minutes after vomiting.

If the child rehydrates immediately after spitting milk, it may cause vomiting again. Therefore, about 30 minutes after vomiting, it is best to try to feed some white water to your child with a spoon.

4. After spitting milk, the frequency of feeding should be reduced to half of usual.

When the baby recovers and wants to eat milk, we can give the baby more milk. However, the amount of feeding should be reduced to about half of the usual amount, but the number of feeding can be increased. During the baby's continuous vomiting, we can only feed the baby and can't feed other foods, including complementary foods.
