Establish an education and teaching system. Formulate and improve the tutorial system for undergraduate students and the system of teacher counseling and answering questions, require all departments to arrange teacher counseling and answering questions according to the starting plan of each semester, and publish the implementation plan of counseling and answering questions on the bulletin board of the school homepage and the student column of the Academic Affairs Office website. We will further promote the tutorial system for undergraduate students, equip each normal student with double tutors, give full play to teachers' personality and academic charm, help students define their learning goals and improve their learning ability. Clarify the inspection system of education and teaching, establish a time node, focus on the inspection of education and teaching order, focus on the inspection of teaching style, study style and teaching construction, analyze and judge the overall classroom teaching quality, teaching order and teaching effect of the school, learn from successful experiences, find out deficiencies and gaps, and improve the overall quality of education and teaching. Form an annual report on undergraduate teaching quality, carry out self-evaluation of education and teaching, take the initiative to accept the supervision of teachers, students and society, and improve the monitoring of school education and teaching quality system.
Improve the participation system of education and teaching. Carry out in-depth evaluation of teaching by graduates, online evaluation of teaching by students and lectures, and improve the construction of public participation system in education and teaching. Organize students to select "teachers in students' minds" in various majors, carry out online evaluation of teaching by students, and form an overall evaluation of school education courses and teachers. According to the evaluation index, organize the leading cadres and teaching supervisors of colleges and departments to attend classes, focusing on the classroom teaching of general courses, research-oriented courses, all-English courses, experimental courses, courses offered by new teachers of colleges and departments, new courses and courses with abnormal evaluation results, and put forward opinions and suggestions to teachers and students according to the class attendance, so as to improve the effectiveness of public participation in education and teaching.
Strengthen the evaluation of education and teaching. Relying on the evaluation of specialty construction, we should increase the construction of specialty connotation, concise specialty characteristics, continue to carry out the internal evaluation of undergraduate majors, and guide all majors to actively learn from the experience of world-renowned high-level universities, set a benchmark, and open their schools. Based on the professional evaluation concept of "being responsible for students, taking the pulse for majors, seeking quality from norms, and seeking development from characteristics", the evaluation orientation of "combining formative evaluation with diagnostic evaluation, combining professional self-evaluation with other school evaluations, and combining consultation with discussion" was established, and the research and exploration of "building a mechanism for promoting the sustainable development of majors, improving the internal teaching quality guarantee mechanism of schools, and building a linkage mechanism for enrollment, training and employment" was carried out. The education and teaching management department of the school, together with the enrollment and employment departments, invites off-campus education and teaching experts and * * * to form an evaluation expert group to jointly carry out on-site undergraduate professional evaluation, and the on-site professional evaluation will be open to the whole school.
Make an incentive plan for education and teaching. Make a continuous incentive plan for education and teaching, and pay attention to the improvement of teachers' classroom skills and level. The school has set up a new teaching contribution award to recognize teachers who have made outstanding contributions to talent training, especially undergraduate talent training. Actively organize the selection and recommendation of many teaching awards, such as Mingde Teacher Award, Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, Nengda Award, Shen Yin Excellent Award and Outstanding Teacher Award in students' minds. Set up a school-level teaching achievement award to encourage teachers to actively carry out educational and teaching innovation. Hold young teachers' teaching competitions and open class activities to promote school teachers' participation in education and teaching-related work.
