How to do a multi-functional library?
When I was a student, I had a lot of notebooks, such as class notebooks, wrong notebooks, diaries, reading notebooks, word notebooks … These notebooks were piled high in a corner of the desk, but I never wanted to open them again. First of all, I don't need to remember their knowledge urgently. Second, these thick notebooks are really boring to read.

After entering the workplace, the company will regularly issue "work logs", write daily, weekly and monthly work plans, and record the contents of meetings. The format is unified and the content is nothing new. Every time I finish writing a book, I throw it aside and never open it again.

In recent years, electronic notes have become popular, and applications such as XX notes and XX documents have emerged in an endless stream, supporting text, voice and picture input. As long as you have a mobile phone, you can record it at any time and check it at any time. Electronic notes are widely loved by the public because of their simplicity, convenience and efficiency.

However, for people who lack self-control, electronic notes have a big problem. I am often attracted by the sudden news push when recording or consulting electronic notes. After I clicked in and read it, I couldn't remember what I was going to record.

I urgently need a notebook that can be recorded and consulted undisturbed, so that I can organize my life until I meet the "bullet notes".

Notes on 365 Days of Bullets is a book written by the British writer Zino Compton and the young illustrator Mathea Mihotic. Bullet note is a note-taking system that integrates diary, planning, notes, lists and sketches.

We can design freely according to our personal preferences, create our own personalized manual from scratch, organize our lives by recording bullet notes, and establish our own life library.

Bulleted notes can be used to record anything you want.

In life, you can record: mood diary, study arrangement, consumption diary, exercise punching, daily cookbook, wish list, annual plan …

You can record your work: work plan, work summary, meeting minutes, memos …

Everything you want to record can be written in the bullet notebook.

Find out what you want to record, and you can start planning your notebook.

First, choose a notebook you like. It can be a blank page, a lattice or a grid. Can be thick or thin. It can be numbered or not. The most important thing is that you like it, because you like it, you will be more willing to open it.

Personally, I suggest choosing A5 notebook, which can be spread evenly and be more convenient for writing.

Write the theme or name on page 1 in your notebook, or you can write a sentence you like.

2-3 pages of the notebook are used to write the table of contents. When you add the following contents, you can write down the contents one by one for later reading (remember to turn pages in your notebook).

Starting from page 4 of the notebook, you can plan them at will. If you plan to use a notebook every year, you can draw a calendar for the whole year on page 4, mark the special days and write down the monthly plan.

If you want to write a weekly plan and diary, how to design it? The author in the book gives many templates, so you can refer to them and choose your favorite ones.

Share my personal bullet notebook plan:

Page 1: year (e.g. 2020)+ title (one theme every year)

Page 2-3: Contents

Page 4: Calendar of the year, marking more important days, such as family birthdays.

Page 5: 1 month plan

Page 6: 65438+ October theme+illustration

Page 7: 65438+1 October1life log

Then sort it in this order ... If there are many things to record that day, it can take 2-3 pages.

The bullet notebook can be used to record any event you want. The author also gives many templates, such as study plan, reading record, future diary, emotional record, film score and so on. If you are not inspired, you can refer to the template given by the author.

Many people think that handwriting is too slow and inefficient compared with electronic notes.

Electronic notes can be typed, pinyin, copied and pasted, photographed and recognized, and the recording speed is indeed much faster than that of handwritten notes. At present, my Evernote APP stores a lot of content, but that doesn't mean I'm more efficient. On the contrary, because recording is too easy and all kinds of materials are piled up, I need to spend more time sorting out.

Work efficiency refers to the amount of work done by people in unit time. The workload here lies not only in quantity, but also in quality. If you want to improve efficiency, you must focus your time and energy on what is really important.

In bullet notes, we can improve efficiency through "task migration".

When we make a long list of tasks and want to finish them one by one, but some tasks are always interrupted by unexpected events, then we need to do "task migration", that is, transfer the unfinished tasks to a later time.

You can limit your migration times. For example, a task can only be migrated once, and you can punish yourself if it is not completed. You can also ask your family and friends to help you supervise, so as to fight procrastination.

Another advantage of migration is that because handwritten notes are troublesome, we stop to think about all the things to be migrated during the task migration, and some unimportant things can be discarded directly, so that we can devote our time to more important things.

Before reading "365 days bullet notes", I didn't touch the palm circle. I think although the hand-held account looks beautiful, it is too time-consuming and inefficient.

After starting to design my own bullet notebook for books, I found that the bullet notebook is not only simple and beautiful, but also helps me organize my life.

I often need to put my mobile phone aside, concentrate on how the plan was completed, and record all the interesting things I experienced that day. In this process, I will also reflect on myself at the same time, so my understanding of life is deepening and I am no longer numb.

Bullet notes are undoubtedly a tool to take care of your life and re-examine your heart.

Take notes once a year and record things that are really important and meaningful to you, so that it is easier to organize your life and gradually build your own life library.
