Personal experience of volunteer activities in nursing homes
On the morning of _ _ _, young volunteers of the Youth League Committee went to the nursing home for condolences.
With the warm sunshine, volunteers walked into the nursing home with wonderful programs, clean tools, sincere smiles and sincere greetings, visited the elderly there and talked with them. The old people smiled kindly, just like the most beautiful chrysanthemum in this season, warm, gentle, sincere and kind. Chatting with the old people is my happiest thing and the happiest moment for the old people. Looking at the happy smiles of the old people, every volunteer's heart is full of sunshine, and their wish is to make the old people happy.
The wind blew off the leaves, but it couldn't blow away the enthusiasm of the volunteers. Volunteers picked up their own cleaning tools and cleaned the yard for the old people. In order to prevent dust from flying everywhere, the little girls also rolled up their sleeves and sprinkled water with great interest. Of course, in the division of labor and cooperation, there will also be volunteers to make beds for the old people, clean their rooms, and chat with them about their hometown in bask in the quilt. The nursing home is full of volunteers' bright smiles and deep feelings.
Clean and tidy courtyard, happy smiling face, harmonious and sweet picture are fixed in this deep poetry. Cultural programs prepared by volunteers began to be dedicated to the old people. The warm but enthusiastic opening of the host cheered the old people. The singing of a song "Mother" made people relive those warm years. Reciting the poem "Motherland, My Dear Motherland" makes the old people seem to have returned to those passionate years. The sign language performance "Like You" is novel and moving, and the sketch performance "Wish" makes the old people laugh many times and be moved. Old songs keep repeating, and sometimes the old people start to beat the time and sing softly with the performers. Wonderful performances have won applause from the old people from time to time, and they have also received positive and enthusiastic responses from the old people. The interactive link is infinitely warm.
An 87-year-old woman is still full of energy. She told us retrospectively about the years during the War of Liberation and her life when she was young, and told us to cherish today's happy life. Grandma also sang an old song for us, and the volunteers gently beat the beat for the old man, quietly listening to the melody of the old man reliving the years. Finally, we ended the performance in the gentle chorus "Tomorrow will be Better" by all the members of the Youth Federation.
When our volunteers tried to serve the elderly, the elderly even smiled and shed tears. Looking at the smiling faces of the old people, everyone feels very sad, but our little efforts can make them so moved and make us more determined to be volunteers! We promised them that we would visit them often.
Happy times are always so short. Two hours of happy time slipped away. It is now 1 1 point. It's time for the old people to eat. We should go. The students helped the old man into the dining table, told him to pay attention to his health and reluctantly left. The old people were in tears, and the volunteers also shed tears of concern.
Through this activity, the awareness of caring for and respecting the elderly has been deepened. Encouraging and advocating social groups to put their love into action has also enhanced the feelings and cooperation among volunteers, and also improved the team fighting capacity and cohesion of the Young Volunteers Association.
Personal experience of volunteer activities in nursing homes II.
During the 20__ _ winter vacation, students in our school use their vacation time to carry out volunteer service activities. In the volunteer activities, the students felt happy and sent blessings and care to Miyun people in the cold winter.
Students in our school have carried out various types of voluntary service activities. They walked into the community in the form of volunteer teams, cleaning the community environment, picking up white garbage, wiping community fitness equipment, cleaning up small advertisements in the community, and also influencing others to care for the surrounding environment. Go into bookstores and libraries, help them sort out books, and let people who come to read books consciously put them back where they picked them up. Walking into the nursing home, offering condolences to the lonely elderly, chatting with them and cutting window grilles for them not only sent blessings to the old people, but also made them understand the true meaning of filial piety. They walked into the welfare home, sent pens, notebooks and snacks to the children in the welfare home, and played with the children there, writing and drawing together, making the children in the welfare home happier and smiling. They contacted the community, helped the uncles and aunts in the community to check the water meters door to door and record them, and also helped the uncles and aunts in the community to check and record the security risks in the community, thus reducing the workload of the uncles and aunts in the community.
During the holidays, these colorful volunteer service activities carried out by our students spread positive energy, advocated healthy life and created a clean and beautiful living environment. Activities not only enrich students' holiday life, but also affect people and society around us.

On September 9th, 20021year, the voluntary service activity organized by the Social Practice and Investigation Association of our society with the theme of "caring for the elderly, spreading love and improving ourselves" was successfully concluded.
Caring for the elderly has been the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation since ancient times. As a student, a young man should carry forward this virtue, so our society has arranged this condolence activity. This not only continues the theme spirit of learning from Lei Feng, but also reflects the concern of contemporary college students for the elderly. Yesterday at noon, dozens of people from our organization enthusiastically walked into the nursing home in Huanghua City, bringing them happiness and warmth.
During the activity, young and enthusiastic students talked with the old people, and the topics ranged from the living environment in nursing homes and the family background of the old people to their rich life experiences. We also introduced our life in the university to the old people. By talking to each other, we know that the old man is not lonely in his later years. Children and grandchildren always bring all kinds of gifts to honor. Many student volunteer teams also visited them, and all walks of life are also very concerned about the old people.
Although our activities only lasted a short afternoon, our love is infinite. In this activity, everyone Qi Xin worked together to complete all the processes of this activity. Therefore, we have not only enhanced our ability of unity and cooperation, but also are happy to do such meaningful things and call on more people to send blessings to the elderly. Although the activity has ended, our responsibility continues. We fully realize the great significance of strengthening and improving college students' ideological and political education. In future activities, we will continue to use the love of our members to warm those in need, and we will continue to carry forward this spirit in the new era!
The development of this activity not only exercised the practical ability of college students, but also improved their awareness of caring for the elderly and further enhanced the external image of our hospital. The condolence activities are over. I think after I return to school, I will mobilize more students to participate in the activities of offering love, further improve my practical ability, cultivate a good sentiment of caring for life and serving others, and contribute my youth and strength to building a harmonious society!

As the old saying goes, "I am old and people are old." /kloc-On June 20th, 2008, volunteers from School of Electricity and Information of _ _ University, led by Pan Tong, Vice Minister of Propaganda Department, went down to _ _ nursing home to send laughter and happiness to the old people there.
After an hour and a half journey, the volunteers arrived at the nursing home, and the person in charge gave them a warm welcome.
After assigning tasks, everyone began to take the initiative to work. Some people clean tables, some people clean chairs, some people clean stairs, some people clean doors and windows ... In order to create a clean and tidy living environment for the old people, even though they are sweating, the volunteers are still working enthusiastically, and everyone's faces are filled with happy and satisfied smiles.
After cleaning, the volunteers chatted with the old people in the way of treating their grandparents, hoping to bring them some comfort in the limited time. And the old people also infected each of our volunteers with their enthusiastic attitude. Looking at the warm smiles on the faces of the old people, the volunteers also felt extremely happy.
Good times are always short. Finally, at the moment of parting, the old people are full of reluctance and look forward to our next arrival. As the saying goes, "respecting the elderly is moral, respecting the elderly is good, loving the elderly is beautiful, and helping the elderly is fun." Life is endless, and there are more volunteers. Let's start from ourselves and carry forward the great tradition of respecting, loving and respecting the elderly in our country.
Personal experience of volunteer activities in nursing homes (5)
Last Saturday, under the arrangement of the school, we went to a nursing home in our district to do volunteer activities. You need to sign up for this activity, but when I received this notice, many people had already signed up. Everyone is very enthusiastic about volunteering, but because of the limited number of people, I only chose to sign up at the top. I'm lucky to be here. On Saturday morning, we met at the school gate. The teacher who led the team gave us a red volunteer armband. After telling us some requirements, we got on the bus and set off.
As the name implies, nursing homes are full of elderly people who recuperate in them. Most of them are busy with their work at home, and then the elderly need to be taken care of because of mobility difficulties. Because of this, old people often have to stay in nursing homes for a long time before they can see their relatives. When I was chatting with my grandparents, I still rudely asked them this question, saying whether it would be particularly lonely without relatives around, and whether it was a bit heartless to work hard to raise children without taking care of myself. Grandparents basically said that they can understand, and they are inconvenient to move when they are old. It is not easy for children to work by themselves, and they can't take care of the elderly in minutes. Looking at many grandparents, I smiled and said that I could understand. I don't know what they are thinking. I personally can't accept it. If my parents are old, I will take care of them and feel more at ease. Because of this, I think the old people definitely need everyone's company, so my classmates all perform programs at their grandparents' houses and give them back rubs. I have no talent, so I chatted with my grandparents and told them about my study at school. They also shared their youth with me. Through their descriptions, I feel that their life is not easy. When grandparents were young, the society was still difficult and their meals were economical, so another grandfather said that he was a veteran and participated in the war when he was young. He told me about his previous wars and asked us young people to remember that history, so that we could study harder and build our society better when we came out. Hearing the stories of your grandparents, some people are excited and some are sad. At that moment, I felt that I should strive to make achievements while I was young. When I am old, I will have more history to share my young years with younger people!
Although this volunteer activity in the nursing home lasted less than a day, it made me feel a lot. That feeling is that I have been baptized and learned a lot. I should respect my elders, make some achievements while I am young, and so on.
