Business license is a certificate issued by the administrative department for industry and commerce to industrial and commercial enterprises and individual operators to engage in certain production and business activities. To cancel the business license, a liquidation group shall be established to liquidate the company and apply to the tax authorities for cancellation of tax registration. After the tax authorities inspect the company, they will issue written opinions and allow cancellation. At this time, you can apply to the industrial and commercial bureau for cancellation of the company. The industrial and commercial bureau will require the company to publish a cancellation notice in the public media. Within the prescribed time limit, other units will no longer put forward cancellation opinions, and the industrial and commercial bureau will handle the cancellation procedures.

Legal basis: If a company fails to start business for more than six months after its establishment without justifiable reasons, or stops business for more than six months after its establishment, its business license may be revoked by the company registration authority. Where the registered items of a company are changed and not handled in accordance with the provisions of this Law, the company registration authority shall order it to register within a time limit. Those who fail to register within the time limit shall be fined not less than 10,000 yuan but not more than 100,000 yuan.
