Analysis on the Application of Library Management in University Knowledge Management
Abstract: University library is a knowledge-based organization, and it is also the knowledge center of literature information in universities. The main task of its development is to provide more comprehensive knowledge services for teachers and students in colleges and universities through the collection, sorting and processing of various documents, and to provide rich knowledge guarantee for teaching and scientific research of teachers in colleges and universities. With the advent of the era of informationization and knowledge networking, knowledge management has been integrated into the management of university libraries. Therefore, colleges and universities should make full use of information resources and combine their own development advantages to develop the knowledge network management system of university libraries. This paper expounds the meaning, principles and contents of knowledge management in university library, analyzes the significance of knowledge management in university library management, and probes into how to effectively realize the application of knowledge management in university library management, so as to further play the role of university library.

With the development of knowledge economy, science and technology and network communication, profound changes have taken place in university libraries. In particular, the arrival of human knowledge economy has broken the original cultural restrictions and gradually become an important factor of production. Many social organizations regard knowledge as a factor of production, which greatly enhances their competitiveness, and knowledge management has been paid attention to by people. As an important place for knowledge dissemination, universities have gradually introduced the knowledge management model. As the infrastructure of knowledge dissemination in colleges and universities, the library has a lot of knowledge and cultural information. Therefore, the application of knowledge management in university library management should be strengthened to give full play to the advantages of library's own education and scientific research. Based on this, this paper discusses the application of knowledge management in university library management.

First, an overview of knowledge management in university libraries

(A) the concept of library knowledge management

Library knowledge management is the development of knowledge management in the library field. It mainly focuses on readers' needs and knowledge requirements, takes knowledge information as the object, uses various knowledge management strategies and methods to effectively develop and optimize library literature resources, realizes rationalization, ordering and systematization, manages the generation, acquisition, processing, storage and application of knowledge, promotes the knowledge innovation and value-added management of libraries, enhances the market competitiveness of university libraries and serves the society.

Knowledge management of human resources mainly refers to strengthening the systematic management of human resources. Through the management of a series of organizational behaviors, the enthusiasm of library staff is constantly mobilized and their work efficiency is improved. In addition, the knowledge management of the library is subdivided into application management, innovation management, communication management, service management and property management.

Second, the status and significance of knowledge management in university libraries

The basic function of a library is to collect, organize and apply information and knowledge. However, with the development of the network, it is more convenient to obtain information. Teachers and students in colleges and universities can query and retrieve information without going to the library, and get the information they need through downloading. The popularization of network information makes the traditional university library lose its own development advantages. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of the development of the times, university libraries need to give full play to their own resource advantages and management advantages, change the traditional single management mode, and use advanced technical means to process the literature information, so as to realize that teachers and students can acquire library knowledge in the shortest time. The significance of the application of knowledge management in university libraries is mainly reflected in the following aspects: (1) Knowledge management meets the needs of library applications. Secondly, librarians should also give full play to their own research, management and innovation abilities in knowledge, truly apply the concept of knowledge management to serve users, give full play to the role of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge, meet the needs of users to the maximum extent, realize the value-added purpose of library knowledge management, and continuously provide various quality services for library users.

Therefore, it is particularly important to realize the application of information technology in library knowledge management. The development of information technology provides libraries with fast information processing equipment and convenient processing means. Using information technology to build a safe and efficient library knowledge management intranet and extranet can realize the transformation and combination of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge in knowledge management, thus facilitating users' application, improving the utilization rate of information resources and realizing real knowledge sharing.

To sum up, the application of knowledge management in university libraries has necessary significance and practical effect, and has been gradually integrated into the management concept of libraries by university administrators, which has a certain practical basis. However, the knowledge management of university libraries is still in the primary stage of theory and practice.
