Brief introduction of fuhui library
Fuhui Library of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology is a barrel-shaped architectural style imitating the Colosseum and layered rocks in ancient Rome. Covering an area of 6,953 square meters, it is divided into six floors above ground and one floor underground/kloc-0. The building height is 29.9 meters and the building area is 29,720 square meters. It started construction on July 3rd, 2006, and became the landmark building of Xi 'an Campus. The library of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology was founded in 1958 (then named Beijing Institute of Light Industry Library). 1970 moved from Beijing to Xianyang with the college and changed its name to the library of Northwest Institute of Light Industry. In 2002, it was renamed the Library of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. The library consists of Xianyang Campus Building and Xi 'an Campus Fuhui Library. As a landmark building of the school, the new library covers an area of 29,400 ㎡.
