Tutors can apply for exemption for reasons such as confidentiality of papers, but they need to fill out an application form for not using the academic misconduct detection system and sign it for confirmation. Requirements for postgraduate thesis defense:

1. After the postgraduate qualification examination is passed, the tutor will hire experts from related disciplines to review the thesis. Master of Science degree students need to hire two assessors with corresponding titles of associate professors or above.

2. Master students with professional degrees need to hire 2 assessors with technical titles of subtropical high and above, including not less than 1 expert from our school; Doctoral students shall employ 5 ~ 7 reviewers with professors or corresponding titles, including at least 2 experts from other units. Students' own tutors inside and outside the school cannot participate in the evaluation of students' papers.

3. In order to adapt to the development of postgraduate education, further improve the quality monitoring system of postgraduate training and improve the quality of postgraduate training, the postgraduate supervision team will conduct spot checks on the defense of postgraduate papers this semester, including the order of the defense site, the members of the defense team, and the standardization of posters.
