The old library of Changchun Jianzhu University has a building area of 6,750 square meters. The new library was built in 2003 and completed and put into use in 2004. The new library building is divided into 7 floors with an area of 20,000 square meters.

There are more than 6.5438+0.7 million Chinese and foreign books in the library, including nearly 6.5438+0.9 million paper books, more than 590,000 electronic books, 22 175 bound periodicals and 35 17 bound newspapers. There were hundreds of periodicals and newspapers in that year. Received more than 200,000 readers, and the circulation of books and periodicals reached 654.38+10,000 times.

The library consists of four branches: Art College, Architecture and Planning College, Cultural and Creative Industry College and Ideological and Political Department. All branches of our college collect professional books to meet the needs of teachers and students for professional information resources, with a total collection of more than 73,000 books.

The branch library of Gong * * Art College has more than 25,000 books, mainly collecting books on art and architectural design. The branch library of the School of Architecture and Planning has a collection of nearly 1.2 million volumes, mainly collecting architectural design books. The branch library of Cultural and Creative Industry College has a collection of nearly10.5 million volumes, mainly including animation, digital media, visual communication and advertisements. The branch library of ideological and political information has more than 20,000 books, mainly collecting books on ideological and political education.
