Laojun Mountain in Luoyang 1
Laojun Mountain, also known as Shi Jing, is one of the three main peaks of Funiu Mountain. According to legend, Laozi, the founder of Taoism, once practiced in seclusion in this mountain, hence the name Laojun Mountain.
Laojunmiao was founded in the Northern Wei Dynasty, with iron rafters and iron tiles, resplendent and magnificent, and was honored as a Taoist holy land in the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Laojun Mountain is magnificent, "stop at the peak, look around, you can look at Qin Que in the west, Chu in the south, Longmen in the north and Shaolin in the east".
Literati and poets in past dynasties admired Laojun Mountain, and Xie Zhen, a poet in Ming Dynasty, once lamented the beauty of Laojun Mountain as "Mount Tai is majestic, Huashan is steep and Lushan is hazy".

Nanshan, Beishan, Guo Hua and Liu Feng stand tall, and Xiu Mi Lake, Biwa Lake, Baihua Lake and Motian Lake are dotted among them, forming a strange and beautiful picture.
5. Taihang Mountain in Xinxiang
Taihang Mountain Macaque National Nature Reserve in Xinxiang, Henan Province has superior environment, lush forest vegetation and abundant wildlife resources. There are more than 30 species of mammals, 65,438+000 species of birds and 65,438+0,500 species of plants.
Wild animals and plants under special state protection include leopard, macaque, dolphin deer, sika deer, blue sheep, golden eagle, great bustard, white swan and red-bellied golden rooster. Among them, the macaque is not only the only remaining endangered primate in northern China, but also the northernmost boundary of the existing macaque distribution in the world, and it has been identified as a national and global A-level protected area by WWF.
