According to historical records, Ying Zheng, the first Qin Emperor, began to build a cemetery when he ascended the throne at the age of 13. The cemetery was planned and designed by Prime Minister Lisi and supervised by General Zhang Han. It was built for 38 years. The vastness of the project and the grandeur of the spirit created a precedent for the luxurious burial of feudal rulers in previous dynasties. At that time, the total population of the Qin Dynasty was about 20 million, and the labor for building tombs reached 720,000. The loess used in the spiritual tomb is taken from Sanliu village, 2000 meters south of the cemetery, to the quarry, where there are multi-level loess cliffs with a height of 5-25 meters. A large amount of stone used for repairing the cemetery was taken from Zhongshan and Jun 'eshan on the north bank of Weihe River and transported to Lintong by manpower. This project is very difficult. The mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor is called "one of eight wonders of the world", which shows its majesty and magic.
