Install the latest update of Surface.
You need to be online to install the update. If there is a problem connecting to the WiFi at home, you can try the public network in cafes and libraries. If WiFi is not available, try using a wired connection and install the update. The Surface 3 tablet has a built-in mobile broadband connection, which can be used to connect to the Internet. In addition, you can also use your mobile phone to surf the Internet and enjoy the network.
Check for the latest updates after networking:
1. At the beginning, select Settings-Update and Security -Windows Update.
2. If an update is available, click Check for Update and select Details.
After installing the update, you may need to restart Surface. In addition to installing the latest updates of Surface and Windows, you should also check the router manufacturer's website and download the firmware update of the router.
Method 2:
Check the system date and time settings.
If the date and time on the surface are set incorrectly, please correct them:
1. Select Settings-Time and Language-Date and Time at the beginning.
2. If it is correct, it can be closed; If it is not correct, you can change it.
Method 3:
Restart surface WiFi
1. At the beginning, select Settings-Network and Internet -WiFi.
2. Move the slider to "Off" and then to "On"
3. Select the network to be connected as required, and then select "Connect" to confirm that the network status is displayed as "Connected", indicating success.
Method 4:
Restart the network hardware and restart the Surface.
Try restarting the modem, router and Surface:
1. Unplug the modem and wireless router.
2. After all the lights on the device are turned off, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the modem again.
PS: Some modems have spare batteries in case the lights go out. At this time, press and quickly release the reset button. If there is no reset button, please take out the battery.
3. After connecting the router, wait for one minute and restart the Surface.
