Disciples Rules is a three-character poem written by Li Yuxiu, a scholar in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty.

Disciple Rules, originally named Xun Mengwen, was written by Li Yuxiu, a scholar in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Its content adopts the meaning of Article 6 of The Analects of Confucius, that is, "Disciples should be filial, considerate, sincere and trustworthy, be kind to others, and spare no effort to learn literature", and lists the codes and norms that disciples should abide by when they are at home, when they go out, when they treat others, when they receive things, and when they study. Later, it was revised and adapted by Jia Cunren in Qing Dynasty and renamed Disciples Rules. Among them, * * * has 360 sentences, 1080 words, three words, two or four sentences, which rhymes fluently; The whole article begins with a "general introduction", and then it is divided into seven parts: "Filial piety is when you enter, filial piety is when you leave, honesty is when you believe, love others, and kindness is when you spare no effort to learn literature". Li Yuxiu (1647- 1729), Zi Qian,No. Hua San. A native of Zhouzhuang Village, Longxing Town, Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province, was born in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty and died in Yongzheng period at the age of 83. Famous scholar and educator in the early Qing Dynasty. Li Yuxiu's life experience is unremarkable, and his temperament is gentle and open-minded, so he lacks legendary stories. According to historical records, Li Yuxiu studied with his classmates when he was young, and studied abroad for nearly twenty years. After the failure of the imperial examination, he gave up his career path, became a scholar all his life, and devoted himself to learning. Intensive reading of "University" and "The Doctrine of the Mean", and the establishment of Dunfuzhai lectures. There are many people coming to class, and there are footprints at the door. Wang Huan, the suggestion of Taiping County, asked him for advice many times and appreciated his talent. He was honored as Li Shishi. I have only been a scholar in my life, and my main activity is teaching. According to the traditional requirements and his own teaching practice, he wrote Xun, which was revised by Jia Cunren and renamed Disciples Rules. His other works include The True and False of Four Books, The Interpretation of Four Books, The Invention of Learning Yong, Accidental Notes of Studying in University, Song Rufu's Articles and Poems of Narcissus, which are stored in Shanxi Library and Peking University Library respectively.

Three hundred years later, Mr. Yaojun Li, editor-in-chief of Harmonious China Network and professor of Confucius Institute in Taiwan Province, made a modern revision of Disciple Rules. Since 2006, Mr. Yaojun Li has taught Disciples' Rules hundreds of times in party and government organs, enterprises, schools, prisons and traditional cultural forums.
