History of the school:

Xinzhou teachers university is a provincial full-time undergraduate college, referred to as xinzhou teachers university, located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. It is a major focusing on normal education, including eight disciplines, such as law, teaching, literature, history, science, engineering, management and art.

The school was founded in 1958 as Xinxian Teachers College, and 1984 was renamed as xinzhou teachers university. 1998 merged with Xinzhou Regional Education College, Xinzhou Staff University and Western Radio and TV University Xinzhou Branch to form xinzhou teachers university. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, xinzhou teachers university and Xinzhou Teachers College merged to form xinzhou teachers university.
