Shanghai Library provides free wireless network services (including general reading, general borrowing, reference reading, reference borrowing and other functional types) to valid licensed readers.

Before using the wireless network shown in the above figure, you need to log in with the reader's card number and ID number (the ID number is registered when applying for the reader's card; If the ID number contains Chinese characters, please remove the Chinese characters, just enter letters and numbers), and don't lend the card number and ID number to others.

The external service hours of Shanghai Library's wireless network are from 9:00- 17:00 every day, and technical support and consulting services are not provided at other times.

The first phase of wireless Internet access service in Shanghai Library covers GF self-service reading room, 1F accreditation hall and 1F-4F reading area (excluding historical literature reading area and patent standard reading room).

Readers should consciously abide by relevant national laws and regulations, and observe network etiquette and ethics when using wireless networks. Do not use the wireless network of the library to engage in activities that endanger public security, infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, and disseminate harmful information.

When using wireless network in public reading area, please keep quiet and don't interfere with others' normal reading. Please don't use the wireless network to play online games, watch TV, watch movies or do multi-threaded P2P downloads.
