Jiangnan University Library, located on the central axis of the new campus of Jiangnan University, was completed and opened on October 27th, 2007, 65438. Its predecessor was the Library of Wuxi University of Light Industry.

The building area of the museum is 522 17 square meters, which can accommodate 2.7 million books and 2,800 reading seats.

The business and management institutions in the library include office, resource construction department, circulation department I, circulation department II, circulation department III, periodical reading department, book reading department, information consulting department (sci-tech novelty retrieval workstation of the Ministry of Education), resource sharing department and network technology department. The Research Center for Resources and Management of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangnan University is affiliated to our library, and currently has10/person, of whom 65 have bachelor degree or above (accounting for 64.4%), including 12 master degree. The structure of professional titles is becoming more and more reasonable. At present, there are 4 senior titles (4%), 20 deputy senior titles (19.8%) and 46 intermediate titles (45.5%).

Our library * * * completed 4 1 19 items of various sci-tech novelty retrieval projects. A total of 479 papers were published in 2003-20/4, including 232/2 papers published in cssci/cscd journals and 2/0/6 papers published in core journals. Edit and publish library and information books 18 volumes. There are 27 completed and ongoing library and information science projects above department level, 7 school-level projects 17 and 8 library projects.
