School 1998, approved by Dezhou Municipal Government, Dezhou Medical Science Research Institute and Dezhou Veterans Hospital were successively placed under Dezhou Health School. On this basis, the affiliated hospital was established, which further optimized the educational resources, enhanced the strength and expanded the scale of running a school, and became an important medical education base integrating teaching, clinic and scientific research in our province.

1999 was named as a provincial key middle school by the Shandong provincial people's government, and was recognized as a national key secondary vocational school by the Ministry of Education in 2004.

At present, the school covers an area of 142 mu, the teaching building covers an area of over 50,000 square meters, there are 37 laboratories, 4 multimedia classrooms and more than 500 microcomputers. In recent years, while doing a good job in secondary education, schools have actively established higher education with universities.
