The book management system contains every link of the current book management business, conforms to the latest education management information standard issued by the Ministry of Education, the CNMARC format standard commonly used in China's library industry, and the current China Library Classification IV standard, supports the Z39.50 retrieval protocol (only input ISBN number for automatic cataloging, and no cataloging fee is charged), can manage books and periodicals at the same time, and can print bar codes and book labels to make book cards. The largest collection of books exceeds 3 million volumes. The system adopts CNMARC standard and the fourth edition of China Library Classification. It has the functions of web page retrieval and publishing, bar code scanning, all-in-one card support, touch screen support and so on.
The system includes system management, reader management, cataloging, circulation, statistics, inquiry and other functions. You can manage books, audio-visual and periodicals in one interface, set holidays, set temporary leave locks (to improve security), suspend the borrowing rights of some readers, import and export readers, exchange MARC data, and upgrade the auxiliary cataloging library.

This system conforms to the "Library Management System Subset" in the Education Management Informatization Standard issued by the Ministry of Education in February, 2002, and adopts the latest fourth edition of China Library Classification, which can meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education for the modernization of school teaching methods and the implementation of school-to-school communication projects in the future. It can run as an independent library management system, and can also be connected to the campus network, which is an inevitable choice for the modernization of school teaching methods.

With Win2000 or NT4 as the server platform and SQL Server7.0 or 2000 as the background, it adopts advanced and reliable C/S+B/S structure, which has good stability and security, fast running speed and simple maintenance. The core of the system is developed by Delphi, the most advanced front-end development tool at present. All software components are local codes, and no other external components are needed, thus ensuring stability and reliability.

The administrator assigns available functions to each operator and sets their passwords, and each operator can change his login password. The login, logout and important operations of each operator are recorded in the operation log, which can be viewed by the administrator at any time. Some important functions, such as data recovery, are limited to the server. Combined with the automatic timing backup service of the data in the library management system under the nt server environment, your data security can be guaranteed to the maximum extent.
6. Network services
This system adopts the mode of client/server+browser/server. After installing this component on the server, all clients can use IE browser to let readers use the functions of borrowing materials query, password change, reservation and information retrieval.
All information is stored in the database server. Each client communicates with the database server through the network, and the WEB service accesses the database server through the ADO model.
7. Self-service for readers
The system supports public users, and we can open some clients to let readers manage their own passwords, query their borrowing history, reserve information, manage and retrieve information, etc. All these functions must be performed by entering the corresponding reader password.
8, simple and easy to use
Although the system provides powerful and perfect functions, the internal implementation of the system is rigorous, thus ensuring that the operator can operate foolishly without making mistakes. For example, readers who are borrowing materials can't delete them, and readers who have the following situations can't borrow books: the number of books borrowed has reached the maximum, there are overdue materials, there are unpaid fines, and borrowing has been suspended. Many other rules have been seriously and concretely implemented in the system, and all these rules are enforced by the system. In daily work, the operator only needs to scan the barcodes such as book card number, material number, ISBN number of book audio and video, ISSN number of periodical, etc. with a hand-held barcode reader, and can complete most of the work.
9. The intelligent cataloging scheme provides a standard auxiliary cataloging database with more than 2.6 million cataloging data.
