The film "To Our Lost Youth" is Zhao Wei's directorial debut and his graduation work in the director department of Beijing Film Academy. The film is adapted from the writer's novel of the same name, with Hong Kong director Guan as the producer, mainland screenwriter Li Yong as the screenwriter, actors from four places on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Han Geng, Yang Zishan, Jiang Shuying,,, Ryan, Huang Ming, Wang Jiajia and Tong Liya as the stars, and Faye Wong singing the theme song "To Youth".

The film tells the story of a girl next door, Zheng Wei, who secretly loves her childhood friend, Lin Jing, until she goes to college and goes to school in Lin Jing. Lin Jing suddenly left without saying goodbye and flew to other countries, leaving Kevin·Z alone on campus. In the fresh and exciting campus life, a boy named Chen came into Kevin·Z's eyes, and then they started a youthful love affair.

The film was released nationwide on April 26th, 20 13. The mainland's final box office was 720 million. 2014 September 13 released in Japan.
