Puyang City, Henan Province, the second vocational secondary school is a full-time secondary vocational and technical school approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Education. It is the only new vocational and technical school in northern Henan that integrates vocational education and military training. At present, there are two military institutions, namely, the China People's Liberation Army Puyang Army Reserve Teaching Team and the People's Armed Forces Department of Puyang No.2 Vocational Secondary School.

The school is located in the center of Puyang, a famous national garden city, and moved to Mazhuangqiao new campus in 2008. The school has 235 teaching staff, 46 part-time training teachers, 5 1% professional teachers, over 85% bachelor degree and 52 teachers with senior titles. There are more than 3,300 students in the school, and there are more than one education specialty 10 in preschool education, property management, tourism management, computer application, electronic technology application, decorative art design, computer network, hotel management, fashion design, electric welding and short-term training. The school has more than 30 laboratories and training centers, including100M educational broadband network, multimedia classrooms, multimedia projection audio-visual rooms, electronic laboratories, home appliance repair laboratories, libraries, studios, piano rooms, dance rooms, electromechanical, computers, art design, physical training, electric welding, electric sewing and housekeeping hotel templates. Modular and phased teaching is adopted, emphasizing practical teaching and job skills training. Under the guidance of the policy of "establishing famous schools and cultivating outstanding professionals", the quality and skills of graduates have been greatly improved, graduates have been widely welcomed by social employers, and the employment rate of graduates has reached over 96%.
