Southern Publishing House Co., Ltd. was established in August, 1993. Its original name is Hainan International Press and Publication Center. Due to business needs, it was renamed Nanfang Publishing House in March, 1998. In 20 16, in order to further develop, our company established a modern enterprise system, standardized the corporate governance structure, and established Nanfang Publishing House Co., Ltd. according to the deployment and requirements of the provincial government and the provincial cultural resources office on the reform of provincial cultural enterprises and the spirit of the Central Committee's Decision on Several Major Issues concerning the Reform and Development of State-owned Enterprises. The company is now a state-owned publishing enterprise sponsored by Hainan Provincial Management Office of State-owned Cultural Assets, and its publishing scope covers books on science, technology, education and economics.

The company now has 8 1 staff and 8 retirees. Since 2002, our company has actively introduced talents and recruited some publishing backbones and a number of college students and graduate students who graduated from key universities. At present, they have become the backbone of the company. Among them, there are 67 people with intermediate titles and 4 people with senior titles/kloc-0. All the senior titles have completed the responsibility editing and registration. The company has five functional departments, namely editor-in-chief office, quality control department, finance department, production department and office. All departments are fully equipped, and they perform their duties and cooperate with each other.
