Later, due to illness, he was secretly escorted to Shanghai for treatment. The oral presentation of illness will once again express the desire and requirement to join the China * * * Production Party. 1944 died in Shanghai on July 24th. On September 28th, the Central Committee ratified him as the official party member of China * * * Production Party. The main works are included in Tao Fen's Collected Works.

The righteous act of Zou Taofen and the public life once again aroused the fear of the Kuomintang government. They tried every means to stifle "public life". On the one hand, he personally attacked Zou Taofen, spread rumors everywhere, framed and slandered Zou Taofen; On the other hand, "public life" is strictly restricted, and it is forbidden to sell it everywhere and mail it from the post office. The Kuomintang government also sent political lobbyists to woo and lure Zou Taofen into submission. For these despicable acts of combining hard and soft, Zou Taofen is righteous and merciless. He made it clear: "If you don't participate in the national salvation movement, you will try your best to stand in the forefront, regardless of life and death." (1)1936 on February 29th, the public life came out and issued 16, which was seized by the Kuomintang government. Zou Taofen decided to leave Shanghai for Hong Kong on February 1936. Zou Taofen's greatest wish in his life is to run a people's newspaper. In order to be able to publicly express his ideas of resisting Japan and saving the nation and spread information, he organized his daily life with his good friend Jin Zhonghua as soon as he arrived in Hong Kong. After months of hard work around the clock, Zou Taofen finally overcame various difficulties such as manpower and financial resources and published Life Daily on June 7. In the preface, Zou Taofen clearly stated: "The two major purposes of this journal are to promote national liberation and actively publicize popular culture", and strive to "reflect the most urgent demands of the people at this stage from the standpoint of the people". After the newspaper came out, it actively promoted the idea of resisting Japan and saving the country. Life Daily was founded less than two months ago, and it had a far-reaching impact, which effectively promoted the patriotic salvation movement in southwest China. However, due to the secluded corner of Hong Kong, inconvenient geographical location and blocked information, Zou Taofen announced that it would move to Shanghai for publication as of August 1 day.
On July 3 1936, Zou Taofen, Shen Junru, Tao Xingzhi and Zhang Naiqi jointly published an open letter entitled "Several Basic Conditions and Minimum Requirements for Uniting Against Aggression", further expounding the proposition of the National Salvation Association in resisting the enemy and saving the country. This paper analyzes the domestic situation and points out that at the moment of national disaster, all parties and circles in the country should stop their disputes and "unite with * * * to resist Japan and save the country". In particular, they expressed their approval and support for the idea of establishing an anti-Japanese national United front put forward by the * * * production party, and called on Chiang Kai-shek and the Kuomintang government to "get up quickly and promote the establishment of a national United front to save the nation, eliminate past prejudices as soon as possible, unite all parties, and make joint efforts for resisting Japan and saving the country." This letter played an important role in promoting the establishment of the anti-Japanese United front and saving the country. In August, Life Daily, which moved to Shanghai, failed to be reissued due to various interferences from the Kuomintang government. According to the actual situation, Zou Taofen reissued the supplement Weekly Supplement and expanded it, renamed it Life Star, and continued to hold high the anti-Japanese national salvation banner in Shanghai to support the anti-Japanese patriotic movement in various places.
