At present, the major of library science at the undergraduate level is management, and the major is library information and file management. The academic system is four years, and a bachelor's degree in management is awarded after graduation.

At present, undergraduates majoring in library science mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of library science and information management, receive basic training in philology, bibliography, informatics, communication and management, have solid foreign language and computer application ability, and master the skills of collecting, organizing, searching, analyzing and researching, and developing and utilizing literature information.

Library management and organization: Learn the management theory and practice of the library, including the organizational structure of the library, human resource management, budget and financial management, service quality evaluation, etc. This research field mainly focuses on how to effectively manage and operate libraries and provide high-quality library services.
2. Information resource management: study how libraries acquire, organize and store information resources, including books, periodicals, databases and digital materials. The research focuses on how to establish an efficient information resource management system to meet the information needs of users, and explore the application of digital and network new technologies in information resource management.
3. User research and information behavior: To study users' demand, use behavior and information acquisition behavior for book information services. The research direction focuses on how to better understand users' information needs, improve the service mode and information resource provision mode of the library, and improve users' satisfaction and use effect.
