The Establishment of Library 2.0
Since Dr. paul miller put forward the term Library 2.0 in 2005, Library 2.0 has experienced a development process from concept to reality. More and more typical web2.0 technologies have been applied to library services, such as online blogs and RSS. We can see their shadows on the homepages of many libraries.

Library 2.0 has also experienced such a development process in China. Since Mr. and Mrs. Lao Huai published the first paper on China Library 2.0, Library 2.0 has become the mantra of librarians and entered the terminology system of library science research at a very fast speed. Different from the previous research on digital libraries, the rise of Library 2.0 wave does not contain too many concepts and air-to-air missiles. But more is to try the real experimental system. The technical teams of Shanghai Library, Xiamen University Library, Shanghai University Library and Chongqing University Library are constantly striving to build the technical prototype of Library 2.0. Lao Huai, Kevin, Zhu Zhu, Blue Sky and White Clouds, Riverside, Cataloging Elf and Li Chaoping all started blogs, which opened a research paradigm of library science based on web2.0 technology. This makes the research of Library 2.0 have a very solid technical foundation. Many librarians experience Library 2.0 through tangible web2.0 technologies such as blogs. Library 2.0 is no longer an empty and abstract concept, but a living technical reality.
