Notes on the Collection of Museum Logos in 2005

In the logo collection activity of Nanjing Library held in 2005, our library received hundreds of related works, many of which showed the extraordinary talents of designers, which can be said to have high aesthetic value and profound cultural connotation. Through this activity, people from all walks of life expressed great concern and support for the construction of our library. Here, our library expresses its most sincere thanks to all active participants and enthusiastic supporters!

Because the logo will represent the image of Jiangsu library, reflect the nature and characteristics of public libraries in Jiangsu province, and have an important impact on the future development of libraries. We invited experts from all walks of life to evaluate all the applied works. In the process of screening, based on the principle of Excellence, we repeatedly considered and finally failed to select works with characteristics, refinement, good visual experience and accurate reflection of our library's cultural heritage.

To this end, our library is ready to start the activity of collecting museum logos from the society again. After the evaluation and screening, we will announce the results of the two collections together. I sincerely hope that people from all walks of life will continue to give care and support, so that the logo that can be in harmony with Nanjing Library will come out as soon as possible.
