The main purpose of library volunteer recruitment
This is a valuable practical opportunity for us, from which I realized that the work of librarians is not easy, and also taught me a lot of knowledge about book management, which played a very good role in paving the way for me to enter the society in the future.

We go to the library to borrow books. It seems that the process is very simple, but in fact we just feel that the work in the library is very easy. Every day, we just take out the books, put them in the car from the classmates who have returned them, and put them in the corresponding positions in their respective libraries after a certain number.

But when we experienced all this personally, we realized that we were wrong. All the work is not easy.

The book arrangement in the library is a system and a science. All the work of the library constitutes a system, which is very complicated, but very simple and practical. It involves the anti-theft of books, the retrieval of books, the situation of books in libraries, the borrowing and returning between libraries, the order of books and so on. So this is a very heavy workload, which requires a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources.

In order to give students a good learning environment and provide more convenient help for their study, many library staff are busy for this.

The work of our group is mainly to stick bar codes and organize books. At the beginning, we were all anxious about seemingly simple work, and we were scolded by the management aunt. We always can't find the correct location of books at first, and we always get half the result with half the effort. Labeling looks simple, but in practice, not only the label we want to label is required to be 2.5 cm away from the bottom of the book, but also the original old label is required to be torn off. Every time we post, each book should be compared, the labeling should be standardized, and so on.

Although it is very tiring to organize books, we have also learned some knowledge of book management, and at the same time, our own literacy has also been improved. Finally, our work is praised by the library staff, which is the best praise for us.

Looking at the beautiful library and neatly arranged bookshelves, and thinking that students can have a better learning environment, we feel that all the efforts and efforts are worthwhile, and we are particularly pleased with what we have done.

This volunteer activity taught me that no matter what I do, I should treat things with a rigorous attitude and patience.

We can't just focus on speed and forget the quality of doing things, nor can we just focus on quality and ignore the speed of doing things, which will bring us a lot of trouble in our future work.

We must learn to balance speed and quality. Try to do a good job in your future. There is a saying that goes well, "If you see a little knowledge, you will be conceited." In fact, everything is like this, and we must experience the hardships through personal practice. This is true in study and life.

In learning, we can't ignore seemingly simple knowledge. Nothing is as simple and easy as imagined. Only when you calm down and study hard can you have a chance to break through a world academically.

Guard against arrogance and rashness, and be down-to-earth, so as to truly understand the knowledge points, and even achieve mastery through a comprehensive study. The same is true in life.

Opportunities will only favor people who are practical and willing to suffer. I feel lucky because I have such an opportunity to experience volunteer service in the library.

Everyone should learn the spirit of volunteers, which reminds me to actively help people around me, start from the little things around me and make people around me happy. I also feel the meaning and satisfaction of life, and get great happiness from it.

I know more about the importance of the library to college students. I also realize the importance of reading for cultivating our college students' own cultural literacy. I got a lot of inspiration from it, learned a lot of things that are not involved in textbooks, and realized the meaning of labor more deeply.

These gains will also play a very important role in my growth. In life, study and future work will benefit a lot.
